Solid Snake. What's with everyone saying Big Boss? He's pretty much the same as Snake. Except Big Boss was dumber.
DO NOT MAKE ME WRITE A FUCKING ESSAY HERE!!! long story short big boss: perfect Liquid: perfect Solid: imperfect now bossy and waterboy both fought by their own will for their own ideas. solid on the other hand is always manipulated by the government to fight their cause, mostly unknown to himself. all stated in mgs4 [sp] it's stated in late mgs 4 that big bosses dream and liquids dream was making outer heaven. now outer heaven would work as a tool to subress and destroy the patriots so that the world would be free again. solid snake is sent in 3 times by his commander and is succesfull in stopping the "terrorists" in mgs2 otacon is "tipped off" and so snake and otacons is once again manipulated into action by the patriots. in mgs4 snake is sent to assasinate liquid, not knowing that the patriots spies are backing him up from everywhere. liquid manipulates him to think that GW must be destroyed, so snake does it, but the virus shuts down the patriots for good completing big boss and liquids long term mission. finally big boss explains the shit to him and only 10% of mgs gamers understands it because it's extremely convoluted and never says clearly what exactly happened[/sp] but stil both very cool protagonists. big boss is kinda Bond and snake is kinda Bruce willis about it. woops... made me write an essay!? EDIT: rated myself funny to underline that this not a bonfire but a bad written informative/joke essay.
:)
How is this related to... anything?
relates to why Solid Snake and Big Boss are both extremely awesome for different reasons
Blu Engineer seriously
The postal dude Joe 'Red' Hartsock (bless his crippled soul) gordon freeman
Oh, Kurt Hectic, Proffesor Hawkins and Max of MDK 2, they are totally awesome.
The Motherfucking Predator
Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank.
probably either zero or megaman. or possibly megaman.EXE. then again, megaman X is also pretty awesome. X2 from the upcoming star wars battlefront: elite squadron sounds kinda awesome as well.
Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver
Harry Mason and Heather Mason from Silent Hill. And Niko Bellic and Gordon Freeman. THERE IS THOUSANDS OF THEM!
I'd have to agree with Drasnus, at least on Raziel. If not Raziel, it would be the "Boss" (He doesn't have a name, but he's the guy you play as) in Saints Row 2. Particularly when I make him with a British accent and a black suit.
strelok or scar (soch and clear sky)
i thought antagonists, were the bad guys in good guys eyes :D [editline]05:39PM[/editline] oh alright :) thnx
A protagonist is the main character of a play :P The bad guy is often the antagonist, but that is because most stories are about a Hero, or someone who is just neutral.
