It's a mod if i remember correctly because it had various things like guns, flame-throwers and other modern weapons.

Oh, I remember that. No, that sucks. The weapons were really overpowered and weird!
And it'll be easier for most people if we just stick to normal game modes.

Yeah how about just plain old vanilla in the desert, that was one of my favorites i remember.
Yeah, really difficult, but worth it in the end. And having a trade tunnel deep underground was awesome.
Though I'm worried. Most newbies would be killed easily. Sand avalanches, getting stuck in oil. Setting themselves on fire. The list goes on and on :p

Okay...That seems like it will be about ..two or three hours from now if I am guessing right, but I would not be supprised if I am wrong,
I'd say about 4 hours from now... Just google GMT and it'll give you a clock.

Desert is fun, but damn hard. I say we try a nice map, or a premade one on Medieval or Western. That way, we can start having fun straight away, rather than getting slowly set up.

Apparently a popular mode is to make a map with lots of oil, that's thin-ish but very deep. You set meteorites and lighting to be as common as possible. You then dig down and try to survive.
I'll see if I can come along. Remember playing single player a while back, weird controls and hard to do anything but when I started mining my first gold deposit I felt so proud :3
Never got the chance to play multiplayer so hopefully you guys can help me out a bit.
