It was more interesting than C1's at any rate. I will say though that I preferred the korean slaughtering gameplay of C1 to the more focused tactical gameplay of C2. Even though there are multiple ways of approaching a target it didn't feel as free or natural as C1's massive levels. The setting is more visually appealing though, Crysis 1 had the same bland architecture for most of its levels.

You know it's probably a good thing our main complaints deal with the small technical stuff about the game like graphic customization and modability, rather than us being pissed off with the qaulity of the game overall. So far I think most people are enjoying the story.

Crysis 2 has a vastly different story to Crysis 1. The original is all about building up tension and anticipation leading up to the grand reveal of the aliens, this one is very much about fleshing out back story, dealing with the consequences of the alien invasion elswhere. I think I personally prefer Crysis's story, simply because it's on grand scale and pretty unique, Crysis 2 is a spin on the apocalypse in New York theme which I think is slightly overdone.
