god damnit
i wonder if they're going to fix pirates being able to play online in that dx11 patch that's rumoured
I wish so much that crytek concentrated on the story as much as the graphics, as ironic as this is, all the effort to bring life into the world falls flat because sadly, the story and characters are still stuck in two dimensions.

it's got a lot more life than most recent game's story. cough homefront cough.
and plus they hired a proper writer this time.

I'm quite enjoying the Singleplayer of this now that I've gotten to sit down and play it properly, I love how I feel like I have an advantage but not SUCH an advantage that I can take on every situation without thinking about what I have to do next.
I just played on a ranked US server, and it was a completely different game. With a ping of 10, I was actually able to engage in combat and come out ahead, compared to European servers, where it seems everyone can easily kill you with two bullets. For those that are not having fun in multiplayer, try to find a server that is close to you as possible. It'll feel much, much better.
Also, if defenders do not get the advantages of the bioticks, then it is broken. The first attacking team gets the stealth and armor enhancements on defense, and then the first defending team has to take the bioticks in the same time as the enemies, and deal with the advantages they have.

You mean duty calls.
today I have learned many things from Crysis 2 MP
-Almost every single server is either full or empty and the ones that aren't either are a bunch of Russians aimbotting and stealth hacking
-Every time I find a server that looks suitable like the Multiplay servers that actually have people playing and it's full I get "SERIAL CODE IS ALREADY IN USE"
-Pirates are running amok in MP due to shitty serial code activation
-Anti cheat doesn't work worth shit
-Almost every server I've been on I've been kicked due to server connection problems (I have a broadband connection that gets 3 mb/s on steam yet I somehow end up having over 150 + ping on any server)
-Every 1 in 5 players I've encountered are either stealth hacking, wallhacking, or aimbotting
Lesson learned? Don't impulsively buy a game few days after release and expect it to work because in its current state this shit is broken as fuck
We should get a group of Facepunchers together to play on a private server, away from hackers and the like.
Just finished SP... it blew my mind.

Wouldn't be a terrible idea if everyone wasn't from different area's on the planet.

Haven't found any hackers yet, or at least none that I noticed.
But I also get a ping of 120+ on the browser, but actually in-game, I usually have about 30.
Make a Crysis Megathread with all the crysis games in it please?
Weeeeeeeee.

just talk about the previous installments here. what's the problem
Well im stucked on Reckoning in Crysis the level on the carrier and im stucked at the elevator there is some kind of a ghost floor when i try to walk on it i fall in the water and die.
I can't pick post human anymore after switching between post-human and hard. :(
my nano catalyst tally keeps resetting
i had 9000 and then i beat the level and i had 0. then i killed a big boss ceph and got 2000 nano catalyst from where it was dead, i checked my amount and it was 0.
wtf?

Did that for me as well. Every time you load a save it's at 0 and you won't get anything until you get to the next level, then it will start counting again. Starts over if you exit the game.
[editline]28th March 2011[/editline]
Didn't bother me much though, already had what I wanted.
yeah i have like one of each category and i dont really want the others
but still i should have enough to buy them all and then some. i like having gratuitous amounts of shit that i'll never use
not until theyve made enough money off dlc
In my opinion they could've released the modding tools and made money from releasing dlc's. It's not like people ignore dlc's just because they have modding tools and a community releasing maps and such.
EA, you dicks. (or crytek, perhaps even both :saddowns:)
[editline]28th March 2011[/editline]
If anything, they gain sales from modding tools, because of cryengine 3.

It should be fine. We've done FP servers before, ya know.

I thought they WERE releasing modding tools?
I thought they WERE releasing modding tools?
They've sorta hinted at it for Crysis 2 (various dev twitters and such), but they already confirmed that they were releasing standalone development tools last year.
I thought they WERE releasing modding tools?
I meant at the same time as the game release, not after a few months.
wtf are u talking about
on all counts
are you retarded?
I never thought I'd agree with Rusty.
