I try using visor in multiplayer (console) but it doesn't highlight them at all. Does it do it automatically or do I have to actually use the scan button?

It does it automatically but you have to pass the cross in the centre over them for about a second.

Also some of these collectibles are hard as fuck to find. There's one mission where I literally searched EVERYWHERE for all 4 of the things and didn't find a single one.

It seems like people are still experiencing hacking, but then again, I suppose they just patched the XML hacks, which still leaves room for actual executable hacking.

Crysis 2 is more optimised than Crysis 1, so you'll be able to run it on medium graphical preset just fine.
I believe the preset is called "Very High".

Loving the multiplayer at the moment, I had an 'I am awesome' moment where I saw a couple guys below me in the street so i stealthed, jumped down, jammed my knife into one of the guys, threw on armour and shot the other 2 to death without being touched.

You seem to be doing well. On my first match I went armor mode in the middle of a firefight and of course my bullets are ghost bullets and not a single hit marker was landed on the dude but his shots tore through my armor in seconds.
Picked up Crysis 2 today, having a good time in SP.
I don't know whether or not I prefer the old power wheel or the new system.
Playing in 3D too, it looks fantastic.

I doubt your suit mode is going to affect weapon quality.
Your first shot in stealth will do way less damage actually, not sure about armor.

Isn't there a squad function? I know there's an achievement where you play with 3 people from your squad or something like that.
I know there are clan tags, that may be something.

I remember recently I had an 'I am awesome' moment as well when I air stomped two guys to death turned and killed two others with my LMG. I was about to die, so I hid behind the pod and threw a suicide grenade and I nabbed someone with that.
Is 3D Vision worth it for 150 bucks? I would definitely buy it if only it wasn't at that steep price. Isn't just glasses and some drivers?

The glasses are £80 (active shutter glasses are expensive mind you) and it comes with the IR emitter.
If you have a 120Hz 3D compatible monitor with DVI connection I say go for it, it's fantastic.

Join an empty ranked server.
Unlock your stuff.
Leave the server.
It should stay unlocked then.

You can't unlock anything in the multiplayer menu screen, only in the lobby. If you don't then it will reset your unlocks.
