You can barely see a difference between the old and new textures... Someone over at mycrysis got the texture pack working without the patch and its really nothing special.

It is high resolution. More sharp and clearer. I'd say Crytek pack and this guys pack would make an awesome texture overhaul.

Too bad the gameplay will still suck, but it's Crysis so who gives a shit.
