I'm kind of surprised POM doesn't wok on DX9 in Crysis 2. Because it did work in Crysis 1 on DX9.

There's a lot of shit that works in DX9 that they don't want you to know :v:
There's a lot of shit that works in DX9 that they don't want you to know :v:
That was true in Crysis 1 since every single DX10 rendering feature could be enabled in DX9 mode with the exception of per-object motion blur.
I want my sandbox
But...I had a good framerate in DX9 :frown:

[editline]29th June 2011[/editline]
I want to try the SDK, but I don't know how to use it. :saddowns:
Total conversion of Crysis 1 hurry up.

:woop:
YES! I have been waiting for that since the moment I preordered C2.
64-bit editor only. Goddammit.
64-bit editor only. Goddammit.
Funny, the game is 32-bit only but the editor is 64-bit only.
What the fuck, are they serious? So I'll have to reinstall the damn BETA in order to mod anything at all?
Ive been waiting for this since Crysis 2 was announced and now this shit...
64-bit editor only. Goddammit.
Is it really? Well fuck me sideways. I was really looking forward to messing with it.
You can edit the registry or something, I don't know, people got it working under 32-bit.
Full debug mode in editor! WEEEEEEE!
[editline]29th June 2011[/editline]
honestly why don't you guys have 64-bit OSes anyway

I'm not made of money! Leave me alone! (Got 32bit OS OEM a long time ago)
I made a comparison between default extreme and Advanced Options 1.6 Extreme.
Advanced Options 1.6:

Default:

Sorry the pictures aren't the best of quality. I can only take bitmap screenshots with the free version of Fraps.
Advanced Options 1.6 is sharp, less blurry, and doesn't have that glow from the sun's reflections off the water. I think it just removed blur and the HDR because when you come out of that security door at the end of the level, you don't get blinded by light.
they got out the bloom and the smoke
How do you adjust the speed at which you fly around the world in the editor?
It seems like Crytek screwed up with the editor.
Texture editor is totally locked.
There are about 1 percent of the assets that Crysis 1 had in the editor, pretty much all you can make is city maps
Assets are locked.
Time of Day is messed up.
You cannot import Crysis 1 maps because the editor does not accept any non game assets.
The funniest part of all of this is that the leaked beta editor could do all of these things.

Theres a number at the bottom of the perspective view in a little box with [0.1], [1] and [10] buttons next to it. Enter a new number in there or click one of the number presets.

I'll quote what I said at neogaf also ;p
"Texture editor? Do you mean the material editor? If so you can clear read only flags on the materials.
1 percent of the assets? Judging from how varied the c2 environments are I'd say there'd be a lot lot more. Did you expect to make maps that weren't city maps from assets in a city game?
Asset paks can be accessed via the pak manager.
"Messed up"? Changed between engines certainly, seemed fine to me.
You can make custom asset paks yourself with the pak manager."

From the DLC?

It came with the Decimation Map Pack coupled with smoke grenades as well. Dunno why it doesn't have sounds in the editor though.
can I get the editor without having crysis 2?
[editline]29th June 2011[/editline]
