Singleplayer was pretty enjoyable, and for the first few weeks, so was the multi.
Part it that ruined it was the map sizes. Definitely not meant for the standard amount; I get destroyed in every way possible within 5 seconds of spawn if I don't cloak.
Guys i just lost all my nano catalyst and I'm pretty pissed off, I don't think i will be playing this game anymore, took such a long time to accumulate...
any cheats to give me nano catalyst easily?

It's already in older versions, but 1.9 is the newest. It's kind of weird you don't have it installed already though.
Where are the MP maps? There are no ".cry" files in their folders.

You might be able to "hack" it using Cheat Engine, never tried
I'm contemplating right now about whether I should get this game or not.
From what I've read, the singleplayer is quite fun, but the multiplayer is nearly dead and filled with bugs.

MP is... well, kinda hard to play because of how complicated the game mechanics are comparing to other straightforward FPS, and leveling up takes forever.
However, if you do manage to get a grasp of the game, it's quite fun.

Woohoo! After playing around with EA support I actually managed to get Crysis 2 for free! (BF3 beta too but the thread is wrong :v:)
Decided to record my first online match, uploading soon, nobody cares probably but this is my first time playing Crysis 2 and I absolutely love it!
How did you manage that?
I really wish people who preordered BF3 could get the beta...

A friend with the retail Limited Edition of MoH, your own standard MoH key and a little bit of photoshop can go a long way. :allears:

ea live support, say that your limited edition key is redeemed as the standard edition key on origin, ask to get it upgraded, agent should ask for proof, friend takes 1 picture of whatever is needed, you photoshop on your key (make it look legit), proof is given, bam.
it worked out differentially for me, the superior had to be called, he said they're out of LE keys so I got to pick one Origin game free and that my email was forwarded to the BF3 beta email team, should get my email in a few days.
now, back to crysis :dance:

EA Support isn't as bad as people make it out to be.
So i updated from 1.0 to 1.9 installed the Dx fix and high texture pack
It's all full of bugs tho, sometimes i go into suit failure mode and it doesn't go back to normal, on the Terminus Level the squid i was supposed to defeat to progress would simply disappear all the time, leaving me stuck on the map without anything to do...had to reaload five times to get it right...
and now I'm at the mission Walk in the Park and i destroy the last spear im supposed to destroy and nothing happens...
what can i do??
Edit: Tried again and it worked, just finished the game, weird ending but all right

Pirated copy. This only happened when you cracked the game.
That reminds me, my friend pirated the game when it first came out and played it to about the middle of the last level, then the game froze and crashed.
When he opened it again, every single one of his saves were gone and his statistics and profile were completely wiped.
Kinda made me think of Earthbound.
He later ended up buying it on Steam
So has anyone released any pretty cool maps yet?
I want to play around in DX11 but my save data for some reason went missing and I don't feel like starting all over :\
Am I the only one who thinks that particle motion blur looks terrible?
In fact, the whole "shutter based" motion blur looks terrible in general. Crysis 1's motion blur looked much cleaner and more realistic. The rest of the DX11 update however, is gorgeously amazing looking. Especially liking the new HDR.
Also, is it just me, or did Crytek use the exact same fireball sprite that Black Ops uses when they updated the particle effects for the DX11 update?

He's nearly done with his iron man of Crysis 2 (Completing the entire game with no deaths) on Post-Human, and has done the same things multiple times on the first Crysis, with a custom difficulty config, Epsilon.
NanosuitNinja is a sadistic bastard, and I love it. His Crysis 1 videos are better since the maps are more opened with less of a linear progression, so he spends his time setting traps and blowing everything up.
