Would someone throw together a spec sheet that could run Crysis 1 and 2 well, while being as low budget as possible.. if possible. I know it's kinda counter-intuitive but y'know.. student and all..
There's an FP user that's really good at doing this give me a second to find him [editline]31st July 2011[/editline] Found him, wow I've been admiring his new avatar for like a week not knowing it was him http://www.facepunch.com/members/227830-Armotekma
Yeah, I know.. but still. Not really a matter of skill. His kills ARE creative and very effective. But a guy playing post-human running and gunning, making every hit would be considered skill. In my eyes.
some of the later levels in Crysis 2 just constantly spawn baddies to the point where you just run out of ammo. :/ its difficult to be creative in Crysis 2 when the control scheme is so combersome in comparrison to the first.
What's the source of it by the way?
hah I too was looking for the source. I narrowed it down to a suicide girl

has the sandbox editor been dated yet?
has the sandbox editor been dated yet?
The Crysis 2 editor has been out for a couple months. http://www.crymod.com/dm_eds/download_detail.php?id=3
Is this the standalone one or does it require crysis 2?
Is this the standalone one or does it require crysis 2?
Oh, were you asking about the the Standalone editor? That isn't out yet.
Is there even going to be a standalone editor?
Yeah, they said they'd release it over the summer
Started a Crysis 2 Playthrough, this game is a lot of fun. Try not to get pissy about it being on Xbox, I don't have a PC capable of running it and I just wanted to play it for fun, which I am having a lot of.
don't worry, from the 'press start to begin' screen I thought you were playing the PC port yeah nigga I went there
No 32 bit editor is poop.
People still on 32bit OS's is poop. But I can understand people's frustration when the leak worked just fine on x86 windows.
Holy shit is this NanosuitNinja?
Often when I get asked that and I say yes one of two things happens. I'm either accused of being a troll and chased out of town by an angry mob with pitchforks or someone wants to make love to my leg and sell me a mail order bride. YT insight is quite cool at keeping tabs on where stuff is being imbedded and sometimes if I wake up and see my inbox stuffed full of either comments, subs or FR's i'll follow it back to its source to see what the fuss is about. Often then not if its a forum I'll have a read to see what people liked/dislike and if the forum is a decent one i'll register and drop in. let me sharpen those pitchforks for you.
How on earth do you change suit modes so quickly?, I always end up taking a few seconds to change the modes (lets just blame my mouse).

Also welcome to the forums!
How on earth do you change suit modes so quickly?, I always end up taking a few seconds to change the modes (lets just blame my mouse).
the radial menu only selects when the MMB is let go and accept inputs even before the display animation is finished + the selection circle is so small that even a few pixel nudge is enough to highlight what you want. after repeated practice it becomes muscle memory but the easiest eay to learn the radial as is if were an RPG in that your shield (armour) is on your left arm, you run forward (Speed), your sword is in your right hand (Strength(its more of an offensive ability)) and your cloak of invis is over your right shoulder. sounds stupid but it works.
Also welcome to the forums!
thanks, ive been lurking for a few weeks here now, seems a decent enough place so i thought id register

Watching your Crysis Ironman and learning some tricks (Namely the way you can leap onto the ship from the water in Assault, that was amazing), and guard routes from your videos helped me beat Delta for the first time. Second, I just wanted to ask, how long did it take you to get to where you are today? Did you start at Delta, and learn everything the hard way, or just start at normal difficulty?

I was playing Warhead the other day, and I sneaked into the Sub-Base from the water I went way off the normal path, I think Crytek probably intended for me to follow the Road, or at least near it. I was like, 'nope' and went via the water.

i've been wondering, if modding allows for custom maps to be played in multiplayer can't a really dedicated team remake the original crysis multiplayer power struggle game mode and maps?
How on earth do you change suit modes so quickly?, I always end up taking a few seconds to change the modes (lets just blame my mouse).
Click and swipe. Don't even look at it.
People still on 32bit OS's is poop. But I can understand people's frustration when the leak worked just fine on x86 windows.
The biggest problem is the fact that, since Crysis 2 works on 32 bit systems, you wouldn't expect the editor to be limited. Its even worse for folks like me who bought the game primarily for the editor, without knowing that I'd need a system upgrade for it to work.

My mice have always had hard to press middle buttons, so I often end up switching weapons instead of middle clicking, which doesn't help.
q e and n q is armour e is invisibility and n is nanovision
Yeah, I'm talking about Crysis 1, Crysis 2 makes it obvious what the keys are since it grabs your view and won't let you do anything other than enable the suit modes. Edit: I don't know why people are surprised about needing a 64bit system for the editor, especially in this day and age. Even the Crysis 1 Sandbox was targeted at 64bit systems.
