Hopefully either tomorrow or the day after my new pc parts will arrive, they'll be; 3.4ghz quadcore, 4gb 1600 ddr3 ram and a gtx 295! Any predictions on what I'll be able to run this on? [editline]3rd August 2011[/editline] Needless to say I'm insanely excited because I had to run it on low last time, my current CPU is 6 years old

the 295 was my brothers it's practically brand new he never really strained it at all, got it off him for free
No 32 bit editor is poop.
I paid $76 with taxes, mostly for playing with the editor. It wasn't my fault I wasn't aware that the editor wasn't supported on 32-bit systems. Even the leak had support for it, why couldn't I assume it the retail version had support? Limited or not, I think it's pretty rude CryTek is flat out refusing to support a system. Why could CryEngine 2 support it but 3 can't? They couldn't be that vast of a difference.
I would like to see a more Crysis-like gameplay in the third rather than the more linear version that is Crysis 2
YT insight is quite cool at keeping tabs on where stuff is being imbedded and sometimes
I do the same thing with my videos. I think it's awesome to be drawn to new communities. I don't like it however when someone embeds my video on a forum asking questions about how I did it, when I could tell them in like 10 seconds.

It's old and becoming more and more limited as time goes on. I think it's great people aren't supporting 32bit OSs anymore. It sucks for whoever has one, but honestly for the benefit of everyone, it's time they got rid of it.

visuals dont bother me nearly as much as the gameplay, cant wait to finish the C2 ironman so I can flush it out my system with Warhead.

red nanosuit looks like shit

Is it DX 11 compatible?
Yes.
Is that a mod that is actually high res and not the bullshit that crytek released?
yep with proper fov not the bullshit console fov
Actually tried it, it worked pretty well. With DX11, it was faster probably because some textures were replaced with High Quality ones but doesn't have tessellation.

as in crysis 1 total conversion.
I'm playing in the Crysis 2 Sandbox 3 right now, does anybody know how to give bricks that "decaying" effect like the paint coming off or whatever?
as in crysis 1 total conversion.
there are things in crysis 2 that I like more than crysis 1. linear maps worked very well for the story and I enjoyed them, but I still want a sandbox feel that would only come from custom maps

I'd link you to the section of Crytek's official SDK documentation that talks about it but the entire thing seems to be down right now...
No it isn't that. I know about the documentation too, but I saw in a video trailer for the sandbox they has sort of a slider and it would give that effect to the walls the more it went up
I... I think i just saw some sort of pony armor mod on crymod forums. :suicide:
I just finished the campaign. holy crap wow, that ending twisted my nipples.
I just finished the campaign. holy crap wow, that ending twisted my nipples.
hahahaha
I just finished the campaign. holy crap wow, that ending twisted my nipples.
Now you've completed Crysis 1 you can move onto Warhead. :)
