I love how the new SDK has leaning and prone but Crysis 2 doesn't

Bumping this thread with some Crysis Warhead Gameplay I recorded Anyone mind telling me what I could improve on?

how do you run the Stand Alone editor in DX11?
I loved the story, but the multiplayer was meh. Good thing I gamefly'd it o_o
how do you run the Stand Alone editor in DX11?
If you mean the Free SDK then you can't, not until they release the DX11 patch which they better fucking hurry up and do. I wouldn't mind but you can't author DX11 assets in the Crysis 2 editor, for some strange reason. Unless they're so retarded that you HAVE to use their shitty CryTif piece of shit to export a diffuse with displacement alpha... I prefer DDS because it's actually a good format, unlike Tif.

My one problem with the Crysis 2 cutscenes, is that often you end up in a random place after it ends. After that scene I fall out of a window to the ground, then wake up on the roof of a building across the city. In Crysis 1 they were linked, and you started the next level where you left off (apart from when it would be boring, like walking through an empty tunnel, or flying over the ocean)
CryTif plugin and sources for some of the sample assets are now available for the CryEngine 3 SDK http://www.crydev.net/newspage.php?news=73551

The one thing I absolutely adored about Crysis is the secret routes and paths you can choose to your objective. In the original theres a level where you have to sneak into a dock with a Korean warship, on my third playthrough I realized that there is actually a sewer you can jump down into to infiltrate the base without any fuss. On the second level I found a secret passage next to a waterfall that allowed me to get in without being noticed, complete with a Korean pissing into a stream.

I need to watch the warhead vids
Not that it needs it, but are there any graphics enhancer mods for the Original Crysis/Crysis warhead? [editline]29th August 2011[/editline] Also does Crysis 2 use proper AA or that weird shader method that blurs the edges? If it's the latter I think I'll force it in my GPU control panel. [editline]29th August 2011[/editline] And is there a way for me to permanently adjust the FOV in Crysis 2 so it doesn't look like my gun is growing out of my face? [editline]29th August 2011[/editline] And can I stop the suit from saying shit like 'TACTICAL OPTIONS AVAILABLE', it makes me feel stupid.

Crysis 2 is a deferred renderer, meaning it doesn't play nice with AA. It's possible to use MSAA with DX10+, but Crytek didn't go that route, instead they're using FXAA (full screen blur, pretty strong in some places too). SRAA would be even nicer, and Crytek have shown C2 running with it, but that's still a while away.
The loading screens explain how he gets to each location.
He gets airlifted by a helicopter? The location thing moves around, but that's it. And if it's the character moving around shooting things, then it's pretty annoying that half the game is represented by a black screen.

Proud to say that I have beaten every level besides "Core" and up in the original Crysis, on Delta, using only my fists, except for parts which required that I do otherwise (Destroying the tanks after rescuing the hostage) So many quicksaves were made, but it was worth it.
you can do Core with your fists, takes time but it can be done.
Just started playing Crysis 2, but what happened to the original storyline? Sure they explain some of the things in prophets flashbacks but still. In the original you were the new super soldiers of the us marines. And in the end prophet flow back to the island. But in Crysis 2 you and prophet are in New York the some army called the C.E.L.L are trying to kill you, the super soldier that will save earth from the aliens. Nothing makes sense if you think back to the original.
Holy crap just tried play this on my old desktop that has an 8800GT and it maxed out. I'm a happy dude. Was getting 40fps too, so happy.
