The single player is actually quite enjoyable. As for the MP... give me Crysis Wars anyday.

It doesn't save your stats until you leave the server. If it disconnects on its own, you lose your progress, which is why you should leave after every few matches.

And finding a server with available slot takes ages... Why wouldn't they just make the stats get updated every time the match ends and you get into the lobby... I was already rank 10, but then lost all my progress and was rank 6. And I have managed to get to rank 7 in 2 days thanks to the fact that I keep losing connection to the server.
So what do you think exactly happened at the end?

I got the impression [sp]Alcatraz took over the role as Prophet but is still the same person but just with some bits of prophet still there mainly being his memories and whatnot seeing as the suit obviously didn't get rid of everything related to Prophet. and the reasoning behind him saying he's prophet at the end is because of the "Remember Me" quote.

I'm the other party in that debate Dragory mentioned, and I think [sp]it's Prophet speaking because there was some talk just before the jump into the tower that he would have to make a sacrifice etc.
Doesn't mean Alcatraz is dead, he might just be unconcious or dying and Prophet took over the suit. Might be Alcatraz playing a recording of Prophet saying that for all I know, just because it sounds so fucking cool lol[/sp]
Anyone having any problems with the 3d on crysis 2?
Like..
I am running the game on the 2nd setting at the moment. (equivalent to medium)
And the 3d setting thingy is still greyed out.
i want to turn the goddamn thing off, but no, it wont let me.
any ideas on how to turn it off?
Please dont suggest Crysis2AdvancedGraphicsSettings!
that program sucks on puts everything on the highest setting when i choose low.

download RadeonPro, make a profile for Crysis2 (browse for the Crysis2.exe), and with the profile selected, in the Tweaks tab, set the Crossfire X Profile to Bioshock, and the MVPU Mode, put the slider to the very left (default settings (make sure catalyst AI is enabled in CCC too))
now launch game from radeonpro

I threw a paint can at one of those ceph ticks and it lived.
I threw a bench at some guy and he lived. I threw a bin at a tick and it lived. Power throw is fucking useless.
Power throw doesn't have the same punch it used to, not just damage wise, but the models just sort of seem to float out of your hand at silly speeds. I'm pretty sure my non-augmented noodle of an arm can toss something harder and faster than the nanosuit seems to be capable of. Also, air stomping while holding someone should result in you smashing them into the ground below you, it'd be fucking awesome.
It is shit, you can't seem to throw things that far anymore.

There are definitely a lot of things which the first crysis did better. Power throwing stuff into a bunch of enemies was so much fun, as was throwing them in the sea. Still, I enjoy crysis 2 more.

Singleplayer's got some good gameplay, I just never know if I need to hop out of a vehicle because of the damage it's taken. I was driving through some alien troops and their guns were like pea shooters, but before I knew it I got toasted inside the APC.
Mmm, Should I wheel my computer out to the living room and try out the 3D?
I can't stand that there is an option to go fullscreen on collectibles, but essentially those are just 512x512 texture files.

I believe the frogs are a rare, real breed of frog called Heaven Frogs. Whenever they are in danger or are thrown, they ascend to the heavens where they are safe.
I think Crysis 1 was best for goofing around (throwing shit everywhere) and it's physics and Crysis 2 was best for it's weapons and stealth.
