Crysis 2 does a pretty exceptional job with it.
The only real problem with Crysis 1's lighting system is that it's missing the contrast extremes that you can see just by looking outside. Highlights on trees aren't bright enough, and the shadows aren't dark enough. Crysis 2 rectified a lot of this and some of the lighting in that game is jawdroppingly beautiful.
Crysis 1 on console, however, appears to be going to the complete opposite end. Contrast is far too high, the color grading is way too heavily implemented, and bloom is multiplied by at least 4-5 times.

Very bright, naturally bright.
You don't see that kinda lightning in games..

It doesn't look like a giant glowing turquoise veil.

This. Most artist use high bloom and tone-map settings, and wacky color correction to fix what is originally dark lighting without their assistance. Those shaders tend to muck with texture definition. What they really need to do is start at square one and get the lighting right, then they wouldn't have to make such drastic changes via shaders.
To be honest, I've seen normal, bright, cloudless days done right in games a LOT more than mornings. Mornings are always way too bright and/or way too red in video games.

*Insert PC gamer joke*
Any good graphical mods fro Crysis 1?
Those screens make me want to reinstall Crysis, if anything.
On my computer, Crysis is always installed.
On my computer, Crysis is always installed.
I do agree with this, just because the original crysis, despite it's "flaws" does have lots of replay ability.

What flaws?.. I really don't remember any..
Man, it was seriously magical when I first played through Crysis.
I had just finished building my gaming PC and I think it was the first game I played on me skeleton. It looked so good.
On my computer, Crysis is always installed.
And I thought I'm the only one who does this.
Crysis has earned a permanent place on my harddrive along with Deus ex

If I installed all my games I'd need and extra 2 TB harddrive.. (Is a 2 TB HDD better than two 1 TB HDDs? Or the other way around?)
Some day I hope to utilize RAID.

Dead Island theme song can make anything even sadder.
I just noticed one of the notes on the missing wall mentions the 'Pinger'
Is the blackhawk model from the trailer in the ingame assets anywhere?
