Apparently the Crysis 1 isn't one the Xbox Marketplace on the PSN Store, wasn't it suppose to be out today? I can't find any info on it saying it was delayed.

Got a pretty extensive set of console commands, more than in the menu in crysis/2 for sure.
I've decided, I'm going to do DE:HR and System Shock 2, i'll probably do them side by side as they're both somewhat lengthy titles.

aw man you've missed out, its gameplay is rivaled only by its atmosphere, it hasnt aged well but once you see it you'll understand why people (including me) think bioshock is shit.
only downside is its an utter shit to get working on modern systems (theres at article on reddit that does a good job of getting it working) and was made long before high res became the norm, i may have to record it in 640x480 as its text doesnt scale and i fear it may be difficult to read in the encoding and playback of YT, i'll work something out, im just experimenting with rendering DEHR as I type. be another week really before anything starts.

I run it fine on PC, but this isn't something to miss.

Well, I think Crysis for consoles proves many hardcore "lol consoles suk" PC gamers that it is infact possible to run Crysis on a console.

these older games generally have mods that fix the UI scaling at hires, don't know about ss2 though
I'm just going to finish up.
Crysis (Along with other PC games ported to consoles) is proof that even if you are a PC gamer, chances are you don't have the development experience to know if something is possible or not to put on a console.
(But it is fairly obvious that the console versions do have inferior graphics)

aye, i beat the config with the "can do" stick earlier and it looks readable in 720p which is fine for recording. :)
Since I just replayed Crysis 2, I have to say, I hate how useless Air Friction was. I was hoping for it to be like when you could glide, in the original Crysis, by jumping while in speed mode, instead of how it is in Crysis 2 (AKA Having the suit grow a cape after 2 seconds of airtime).
Just beat the first level of the Crysis port for Xbox, looks slightly better compared to the PC's very high settings at times with better lighting and better looking vegetation. Some of the sound effects are weird and very different than the PC version's sounds.

So I take it the console Crysis 1 is basically just Crysis 2 with a Crysis 1 skin?
Because I noticed in a vid armor was manual and drained power, along with the honeycomb effect, and that strength is default as it was in Crysis 2.

It's better than what I expected to be honest.
for a cash grab they've not done too bad a job, although if anyone honestly believes it looks better then the pc version they are mistaken, still, its quite impressive given that they've gotten it to run on what is considered a calculator by todays standards.
in all honesty its just made me hate crysis 2 even more as they really didnt need to reboot the entire franchise into the shit heap it is now.
