Just played Multiplayer again after not playing it for months.
Holy shit is it fun. The reason why I got turned off was because of the confusing layout but then I turned off motion blur. Still a bit confusing but better. Also everyone played TDM. But today I found a packed Crash Site server.
Is it just me or does Mobility Enhance feel like it should be standard? I always take it now.
Lastly, are there any optimization guides? Running Crysis 2 on an i7 720 1.6ghz, ATI Mobility Radeon 5730. It's a laptop. I run at 20-40fps, which is acceptable but sometimes disorientating.
Apart from running it on low, I don't think there's much you can do, and some areas will have bad slowdown regardless (Particles are the main culprit, my GTX 570 goes down to <10fps when the puffs from bullet impacts block my screen)
I'm surprised at how much disabling motion blur sped my game up, and it looks better as a result.
I just hated it because it disorientated me when I played. Turning it off improved my gameplay quite a bit.
I love the OST. Especially "Insertion"

Me and my friend would always play the soundtrack from this game in every other game, It was amazing how much more feeling it got, How much more inspiring.

Haha, thats true. It's probably because it has that cliche pop feel though. It's easy to remember.
But honestly like the Gilboron said about the tune being recognizable, I can't remember there being any other tracks in Crysis 2. I can only remember the main theme being played every now and then really.

Wow, fantastic. I just got an urge to play this game again only to find out that I'm literally getting 2 FPS when in-game even though I'm running the exact same specs that I was a couple months ago when I could get an average of around 30-40. I have the latest drivers, so I'm really not sure what the problem is.
I wonder how many are still online?
