Non-programmer types tend to defend Notch's ridiculous obfuscation practices, ticks me off, there is absolutely NO reason for it. It's extraordinarily surprising to me that someone who otherwise seems rather with the whole indie program would fuck over his fellow programmers and users for nothing at all. I made some great discovery last night when mining. I built a bridge right out on the sea and then made a tunnel right down. I eventually broke through the floor and got into this huge, open cave with lot's of resources... and monsters. Still a great discovery. It had lava, gold, iron, LOADS of coal and diamonds. Is it common to have these huge caves under the water?

My sister had made a fireplace in her wooden house, and right before she lit it I showed her that video. After that she didn't want to light it but I coaxed her into doing it.

Man, SSP is broken for me too. After about 20 minutes of play my CPU is at a constant 100% the screen stutters and I have to shut it down through Windows Task Manager.
Anyone have a fix? I'm running vanilla.

Is there a way to host LAN's really easy, because me and a couple of friends here at a college can't access a hosted server with the same IP.
