Next friday, I'm staying up for 48 hours for charity. I plan to be gaming for most/all of that time. I'll be playing Minecraft for a sizeable bulk of it, so I'll post the link in here when I start. I'll make a thread in GD, too.

If anyone wants to join me in doing this, it'd be much appreciated. It's for a charity called Children In Need, their live telethon thing is next friday, which is why I'm doing it that weekend.

Actually, tell a lie, I'll be gone for a couple of hours on the Saturday to see Harry Potter. I'll be awake for it though, rest assured.

I might not do it until the 26th, I'm still undecided on it. I get a day off from school on the 26th, so I could spend all day in bed. Keep in mind if I do it on the 19th, I'll have to endure a full day of school before doing it.

I'll have plenty of Mountain Dew/Lucozade with me, and two friends who are taking shifts to keep me awake if I do get drowsy.

Agree if you want me to do it on the 19th, Winner if on the 26th.

The 26th is a better choice in my opinion, since you'll have more time to prepare for it then dedicate yourself to it better.

Friday night: New Vegas (Comedy character. Low weapon skills, high science/lockpick/repair etc.)
Saturday: The whole Half Life series. It's gonna be funny watching me half asleep shit myself at Episode 1
Saturday night: Minecraft. SMP AND Singleplayer
Sunday: request games that I have on my list
Sunday evening: donate to Children in Need live on stream so people know I'm not hoodwinking them.

This is all subject to change. I'll be doing dares for money for the whole duration.

Why is it that whenever I join a SMP game I can't break any blocks and collect them? They just reappear after a few seconds. Anytime I type out a message, it never shows up in the box either.

I think your only choice is to reinstall then. You might be able to get a copy of Ubuntu or another form of Linux installed temporarily to save as much as you can but you'll need to do an AV scan on those files before putting them back on a Windows machine. And you'll almost certainly need to do a reinstall of Windows at this point.
