how do i zip a file, I cant select it while clicking the folder i want to zip (not in the list of options)
Now when I destroy stone it doesn't drop anything. Just gonna start a new world.

Never mind, now it's happening on all my saves. Is there some corrupt file I could delete that will fix this? I only started encountered problems this morning.

Triple post, do I need to use a pickax for it to drop things? Because I've been using my fists.
How would I increase the performance of running Minecraft on my laptop?
It has 2 gb of ram and a 1.66 ghz processor.
I can give out more info about it if I need to.

Yeah you need to use a pickaxe made of wood to get stone and coal, and I think you need a stone pick to get iron (or maybe you only need wood), you need an iron pick to get redstone and diamond, and you need a diamond pick to get obsidian. Don't fucking ninja me.

Games with addon support are always more welcome. When i see a game with a "mods" tab, or an mod manager (e.g. Morrowind,Oblivion) i most times love them for it.

Also, I have no problem with mods as long as the person creating the mod gets permission from the game's creator. You never know if they would approve of it or not.

Hey guys. I've been playing Alpha a lot recently and I've just bought the game.
I have one question - do we have rain or snowing in the game?
If so, how do I activate it? I never have it in my game.
In classic, there is test rain, but no rain in alpha.

Me and my pals play on LAN here, we just get one person to host, and everyone joins their IP.
eg. 192.168.x.x kinda IP, seems to work perfectly fine.
And if we wanted to add other friends who weren't on the LAN, we'd have the host put up hamachi :P
Got bored, so built a wall around the portal, forcing the only way to the portal being the path i've laid down. Will probably do the same for the other 2. Won't do bugger all against Ghasts, but looks alright.

If you use Winrar you can choose to make a zip instead of rar. Just mark the files you want to zip, right click, Add to archive...
Then you get this screen:

Choose zip instead of rar, location and name etc, then you are good to go!
