Does anyone have a link to the latest version of Wombo's pack
Current version is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?3222ltf08d2hj63
You'll have to unzip it and remove the GUI folder and terrain.png files from the folder it creates then rezip them for it to be compatible with the pack chooser.

Im planning on making a giant hole in the middle leading down to the bottom of the map, i will have my mine and possibly some factories down there.
Can people post pictures of their towns? I need some inspiration for buildings.

I moved sealevel down from 64 to 32, doubled the frequency of trees, doubled the frequency of iron and coal, set the volatility settings higher, and put the height limit on ores at twice their previous heights. It's a beautiful while still reaslistic world. (Except for the floating chunks you see in a few screenshots.)

You can modify the default char.png to be high res in the .jar, but it only works offline
Boom.

What texture pack is that?
Did Notch ever make mobs work right in MP?
Did Notch ever make mobs work right in MP?
No, not yet.
So I just got the game and....
I love it!
I've died twice so far. I got lost inside of a cave and decided to dig up, and I got flooded with water and drowned.
The second time, I made my own cave with lights and all my shit in it, I walked outside for some fresh air, and got killed by a zombie. Gah. Still amazing.
What texture pack is that?
That is the painterly pack
How the fuck do I use this new texture pack selector?
I can't get any texture packs to work
Yeah, I can't get any texture packs to show up in the selector thing either.
Yeah, I can't get any texture packs to show up in the selector thing either.
Remember, they must be ZIPPED foldiers, as well as the only thing leading to the content, like for the foldier, .minecraft\texturepacks\*zippedfoldierwithtextures*\ALL THE STUFF

EVERY TIME
URGH
I hate gravel.
I can't get any texture packs to work
You need the pack to be like this.
Put it in a similar location to mine here:

Then you need to make sure when you open the pack, it looks pretty much exactly like this: (Yours may have more or less files.)

Make sure that the GUI, Armor, and Terrain folders as well as the shadow.png and terrain.png are directly inside the zip file. The pack MUST have pack.png and pck.txt. These can be blank files but they must exist for it to work.
Make a .zip on the .minecraft/texturepacks and put the texture pack in that .zip. After that you will be able open up minecraft and open up the texture packs, there should now be your texture packs in there. just click on your texture pack and then press done.
