Wait, resource amounts are effected by biomes? I though the biome mod only changed the size of them.

I am trying to host a server for me and my freind, i have opened up ports 25565 and 25566 on my router and everything, when i give him my public ip it just does not let him in... what is going on?

No, it makes a config file you can edit which includes the max height a resource appears at as well as the amount that appears in addition to the other biome stuff.

Either the wrong ports, your internet connection is bad, or his is.

I think that servers should have options like this, so you can have a lot more resources for a lot more people.

In the server properties file, make sure the IP field is blank. For some reason if you enter your IP into it, no one can join. Also if you're using a firewall, make sure it's not blocking the server.

Ah, i put the ip as my own ip... i will try that out now.

Anyway I was digging and found 2 dungeons..1 had a record (yay) and the other had a shit ton of iron. It was pretty nice.

Just started playing minecraft again.

I hate the fishing rod. It's so much fun, that I always stand on my tower and pull creepers and skeletons up to me. Then I respawn, find my base, and collect my things. It happens again and again.

I do the same exact thing, but mainly with pigs and such.

I just walked 3 steps out of my spawn and fell into a massive hole in the ground. After I respawned, made my way inside of it. I find a huge room in front of me, which has a few caverns inside of it.

Found a ton of coal and iron. Today is a good day :buddy:

This is my general testing area. The grey tower is 4 bits of memory and the tracks are a small testing area I've developed for making a 4 way track switch that is controlled by 4 turns. Any direction can go any other direction. It's really cool but I don't think it will ever be practical cause it requires switching some of the tracks up to 3 times to get them to face the right direction.
