I just generated the most screwed up map, and it even has a nether without the requirement for portals... :S [img_thumb]http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/5995/lololasdas.png [/img_thumb]
You can do that on a SMP server.
Is there a better way to dispose of unwanted blocks than stand infront of a lava pit and slam on Q
Is there a better way to dispose of unwanted blocks than stand infront of a lava pit and slam on Q
Drag stacks out of your inventory into lava. 64 at a time.
you can drop them out of the inventory as I recall
Is there a better way to dispose of unwanted blocks than stand infront of a lava pit and slam on Q
If you open your inventory, click the block stack, and then click again outside of your inventory space, it'll toss all the blocks in the stack. [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] wow triple ninja'd i get points for clarity though right? :frown:
Is there a better way to dispose of unwanted blocks than stand infront of a lava pit and slam on Q
Drop stacks on ground, use flint&steel to set block on fire, junk disappears. Not recommended on wood, leaves, or next to trees.

I was testing it on another comp, it was refusing the connection
There are a few things. First off, you actually don't want your IP entered in the IP field of the server properties file. Otherwise no one will be able to connect. You'll also want to make sure you have port 25565 forwarded on your router. Then once you've done both of those, you only need to give out your IP. If that doesn't work then having them enter IP:25565 is a possible solution. Yep.
Yep.
Try connecting to either 127.0.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 (I can't remember which one specifically.)
It worked 2 days ago
It worked 2 days ago
Have you updated the minecraft_server.exe and minecraft_server.jar?
Ya
Ya
Are you using Hey0's or another server mod?
ffffffffffff [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] Completly vanilla
I have no idea why that would be happening then. My server is running just fine. (Well, as fine as can be with the new SMP bugs.)
I only use mc edit to edit maps
I only use mc edit to edit maps
Are you sure that the server properties file is properly configured? If you have updated, it's possible it was overwritten.
I only use mc edit to edit maps
connect through your local ip e.g. 192.168.1.18:25565 if you dont know how to find it, go to run, and then type in cmd, then in the cmd prompt type in ipconfig it's the 3rd one from the top, it's "IPv4 Address" under "Link-local IPv6 Address"
didnt work
didnt work
open your ports then :downs:
derp they are
On the connect menu type "localhost" when you try to connect. If that doesn't work you have something terribly, horribly wrong. If that works then go to ipchicken or something and get that IP, try to connect to that If that doesn't work it is the ports.
derp they are
how about you check do you have a dynamic ip? are you SURE you opened the right port?
local host worked
didnt work
Try connecting to localhost. Just type localhost and connect.
local host worked
Still doesn't solve the issue of others not being able to connect though. I tried when you posted your IP and couldn't connect.
