Hey, guys, I can't get the Painterly Pack to work.
I click on the Pack in the Mods and Textures section, but when I press done, everything comes up with the default Mnecraft skin.
Any help? (I hope this question isn't as stupid as the "Where's the Minecraft.jar post I made)

Did you put it in the texturepacks folder in your .minecraft folder? Cause I'm using Painterly right now with no issues.
What was the Flatmap missing in the OP?
Was it literally just a flat map?

If I remember correctly, it was a normal map with a very large chunk that was flat and about 10 blocks above bedrock.
Is there a key to take screenshots? I could have sworn people talked about it in this thread, but I can't find any info on it, and none of my f keys seem to be doing that...

It was a 512x512( I think bigger ) flat map for messing around.

Yes, I did. If I didn't it wouldn't show up in the Mods and Textures section.

That's odd. I downloaded my copy today. Take a screenshot of your texturepack folder, the files inside the zip itself, and the pack chooser screen on Minecraft then post them for me.

But it causes a rather large memory leak. ( 1.5GB large )

It may have issues with your ZIP program, use the windows default zip, select all the painterly files, right click and send to compressed zip.

Try renaming it Painterly.zip. Maybe the parentheses are screwing it up or something. If that doesn't work, try redownloading it. The files might have gotten messed up somehow.
Has Notch ever actually seen any water?
He doesn't seem to know how gravity and water interact. It's sort of cute.
