I had to reinstall windows on my PC because it was corrupted to shit, and fraps still gets 1fps when I try to record on minecraft :saddowns:
Also, here's a texture pack I posted a while back, I've been working on it to make it work with the Halloween update.

I figured out the flaw in my plan of only taking my bow and arrows with me when I entered the Nether... I used all my arrows on three ghasts then had nothing to defend myself with as 4-5 more spawned around me.
Just a note: the ghasts actually seem to spit the fireballs above you for some reason. I was trying to bat them back to kill them all but they kept going over my head while I was just standing there. Finally found the exit and got back to my base with 5-1/2 hearts left.
Honestly though, the hardest enemy in the entire game for me at this point is the stupid skelly archers. Especially when I'm out of arrows. Since I got out of the Nether, I killed 7 skelly archers and used up all four of my porkchops. I'm currently in my base with 3-1/2 hearts left.

The catch with something like that is that it requires a shortcut-like quick-bar, I thought of this before the quick-bar, and I know a change as drastic as the quick-bar would feel unnatural but I think it would be fairly nice.
I think it would be hilarious if you could get Ghasts to fire fireballs INTO the portal (Not on the frame causing it to break) which would accumulate a bunch of fireballs on that side, so when you re-enter the portal and come out in the normal world all these fireballs would fly around everywhere.

This isn't caused by the glitch where you exit hell from a different portal, the world generator just spewed out a random portal... it's on the other side of the world.

Howabout having it so the chunk that the portals are in on the other worlds are simulated in real-time along with the world your in, though this would probably require a major rewrite of most of the world transition code, it would make the transition alot nicer too.

It would be even better if your Portal was underground near your house then the fireball exploded a wall revealing a dungeon of spiders which found a way up to your house and had a party.

Uh, what? Having it so the quick-bar condenses any of the same materials placed into it allows for more room in the quick-bar itself, for things like [b]tools[/b], other materials, torches etc. without having to open the inventory again and place more objects into it.
