I installed BiomeTerrainMod and Oreveins and now when I play the game after I login I just get a black screen. Are they compatible or did I install them wrong? I used the Mod installer tool thing.

Decided to go explore in one direction. Got bored, same damned forests i've seen all over this godforsaken continent.

Is anyone else having the problem on smp servers where you destroy a block.. and it respawns and you destroy it again and it breaks?.. Lag problems?

Fucking incredible. I fell into lava again. Died, and respawned nowhere near my shack. Fuck this game.

Once by some bug (I saved then entered my game only to find myself dead infront of my house) Once by falling into the lava and once while making an igloo a creeper blew my face off.

I'm so sick of dying in this game. Can anyone tell me how to backup my saves, in detail? Worst page king ever. Double clik .minecraft, double click saves. Then copy the folder that correspond to the save you want to back up and paster it somewhere. (Probably in the same folder.) So you pretty much want to back it up everytime you press ESC to be sure you won't die and loose stuff.

Ask the admins where the server is located.[/QUOTE] It's partly lag problems, mostly notch's block verification code that he put in so you can't dig faster than you are supposed to, but it's horribly flawed right now, so it doesn't allow you to dig at all most of the time.
