Black screen and then crash for me :(
Black screen and then crash for me :(
So you're saying it does indeed run smoother than FSX then?
So you're saying it does indeed run smoother than FSX then?
At least it doesn't take 15 minutes to load followed by randomly crashing while entering the final approach :V
Microsoft actually have the balls to call this crock of a shit a simulator ? Looking at the DLC which is ridiculously expensive (the P-51 is also missing a cockpit wtf?) it appears Microsoft Games is trying to become the new Ubisoft, well I certainly won't be buying anything.

They even removed the word "simulator" from the title so it would be more obvious
Out of question what was the best flight Stimulator game anyway?
FS5.1/95 was probably the best if you're just going by improvement over the previous game. Textures instead of flat shading, and a large amount of third party addons.
Out of question what was the best flight Stimulator game anyway?
X-Plane :v: (First post! Hi Facepunch!)
Wow, this is a joke.

Saw this earlier, going to download it tonight. Then realize my mistake and download XPlane.
Looks like this is the only active thread for Microsoft fs games. I've got a ton of FS2004 payware addons I'm looking to unload. If someone in the US wants to cover shipping, they can have it all. Can put together a list if people are interested.
Fuck this shit. When I was down at Pensacola they had FSX running at the Naval Aircraft Museum in a huge ass simulation pod. That was awesome.
For free? Sure I'll try it.
No modding, no playing. Sorry Microsoft.
No modding, no playing. Sorry Microsoft.
No mods? Wow, you might as well just make it Xbox exclusive, Microsoft.
Crashing wildly into scenery and other planes is more fun than ever in this one IMO.
Well, I thought MS would casualize it but I've never expected it to be this much. I'm surprised that they haven't made one for Kinect yet: On the other hand I forgot how to fly with the PMDG 747.
I love how slow Games For Windows LIVE downloads.
On the other hand I forgot how to fly with the PMDG 747.
Good to see someone else using the PMDG 747, love that thing. But yeah MS Flight is shit, I gave it a try, played for about an hour then rage quit. The flight dynamics don't even feel right, it's like they fucked it up massively from FSX. The Icon A5 is junk as well, MS probably only picked it to put in the game for $$$, who the hell wants a cockpit that looks exactly like a car and gives the pilot little to no information?
who the hell wants a cockpit that looks exactly like a car and gives the pilot little to no information?
Casual gamers who get intimidated by too much information.

Why are there only two airplanes when FSX had loads of airplanes?
So they can charge for more? And it's a free game as opposed to FSX which remains around £50 to this day.
It's a casual, free-to-play, transaction-based game.
It's a casual, free-to-play, transaction-based game.
There are like two more airplanes to buy. Game is lacking...
