Im torn on whether to buy for PC or 360.. PC so far as i think like Oblivion there will be mods. Better graphics on PC, is there achievements on PC? Hope there is, i love achievements :> Also when i play i don't have to kick my family out of the living room.. What do you think? Also does this closely resemble Oblivion? But in future, with guns, and better? Edit: Also can you playin 3rd person?
They never said a thing about graphical enhancement on PC.
Usually, mystery man most games that are out on multiple platforms look graphically better on the PC, plus it has much higher resolution in most games.
I've never noticed it.
Wait,i think i saw on a loading screen it was saying: Corpses Eaten: 0 We can eat people? :3:
Te PC version is going to totally fail if they don't release the developer kit like they did WITH ALL THEIR OTHER GAMES!!! It will be good of course! But the reason Oblivion and Morrowind are still alive today is because of the DK... Todd Howard even said in an interview that the DK isn't confirmed yet. If they don't release it this game will just be forgotten like every other pc game after 2 years...
I think an interview with Pete Hines just stated that the editor won't be coming out with the game. Or so says X-Play. ALSO: Fallout MMO is confirmed.
I think an interview with Pete Hines just stated that the editor won't be coming out with the game. Or so says X-Play. ALSO: Fallout MMO is confirmed.
MMO? woot :D If we don't have to pay each month, i am in.
MMO? woot :D If we don't have to pay each month, i am in.
What makes you think we Won't pay each month. Of course we will have to pay, it is a MMO you always have to pay for MMO s developed by companies.
What makes you think we Won't pay each month. Of course we will have to pay, it is a MMO you always have to pay for MMO s developed by companies.
Thank you for ruining my dream. Anyway, can we really eat corpses?
Yeah, yeah. Totally impartial and never wrong about anything. :v:
Dude, Bennies gay, backaway from it slowly, no sudden movements don't let it infect you now we're so late in the game. But for me, Diplosniper all the way, I remember aiming for the eyes and blowing most of their body off.
Maybe in the game if we become radiated for long enough we become GHOULS. HOLY SHIT WE COULD GET TO EAT PEOPLE. LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL:excited: Alas, for now it is a pipe dream.
I would become abit evil I find characters annoying, as long as they don't have the same voice changing bug in oblivion.
Maybe in the game if we become radiated for long enough we become GHOULS. HOLY SHIT WE COULD GET TO EAT PEOPLE. LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL:excited: Alas, for now it is a pipe dream.
I sure hope so, like how you can become a Vampire in Oblivion.
Thank you for ruining my dream. Anyway, can we really eat corpses?
Trust me. You WANT to pay. All mmo's make you pay. The only question is how. Some gimp you and only give the cool stuff to the players who pay. Others shove advertising straight down your throat. I'd rather pay them up front. Better the devil you know.
I really fucking hope the Childkiller trait is not in. In F2, I accidentally shot a kid with my Turbo Plasma Rifle just because he ran to the line of fire to get a Nuka-Cola. He melted to a puddle. 157 dmg. Needless to say, traveling without the car got really fucking annoying pretty fucking fast. Bounty hunters in combat armor and laser rifles (4dmg a shot) hunting me all day long. At least 6 encounters every SF-NR trip. My karma was +200, I was a porn star, a made man, a boxer, and recognized as a champion of good everywhere. All I can say about that experience, is: EF GEE ES EF DEE ES

You don't have to worry about it anymore in Fallout 3 though, they'll just run away and call some adults to help them. Finger removal for good karma and money.
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2008/09/23/interview-pete-hines-on-fallout-3-mods/ Interview with Bethesda's PR and Marketing: Pete Hines. It's a good read.
I like the sound of there being benefits to neutral ground.
Developers will make do with anything.
I don't like the sound of this. We wouldn't be getting anywhere near the level of quality from modding communities without the right tools for the Elder Scrolls games.
Right. Finger removal for good karma and money.
That's why I love this game. :v:
This might sound stupid but. What is an essential?
What? they're saying that the tools for fallout 3 are unfinished and not user friendly, and saying that the developers will make do with stuff like that when the community would just complain and there wouldn't be many mods.
Misread on my part, I assumed he meant mod developers. Still, the way he's worded the subject on mods, it sounds like it's very far down on their priorities list. What's Hines going to tell us when the game's out and patched and all the developers aren't working to get Fallout 3 out? Edit:
This might sound stupid but. What is an essential?
An NPC which cannot be killed. In Oblivion, they were indicated by a crown icon. Attacking them does the usual stuff, but killing them knocks them unconscious. Technically, they're invincible unless the plot demands they die.
So if they die will there be like an awesome cutscene?
It usually doesn't involve that much drama. It's as simple as their essential status being revoked for certain situations (meaning there's just a high chance of them getting killed).
I remenber the first time i played Oblivion, i killed some guy that was a essential, then it said he was unconscious. I was like ??? and then the guy came up and killed me. :< Anyway,i am not blowing Megaton, i am going to get a lot of money them i am going to pay to enter Tenpenny Tower. :3:
I am so going to be the dude everyone hates in that game.
I wonder if the sheriff will be really pissed off if i steal his hat. :3:
