In that case, I'll remember that for when I make the Demoman. That still banks on whether or not I can put grenades in or other explosive objects. They'd better not pass up the ability to launch proximity mines onto walls and grenades really far.
If you can launch teddy bears with it, I'd like to assume you could also chuck explosives and the like (looking forward to splattering the Megaton citizenry's homes with Mirelurk eggs). When I asked about weather effects, I was primarily curious on the grounds that a post-nuclear wasteland would likely harbor a rather hazardous rainfall. As for Oblivion's rain and snow fall, I don't know what the hell was up with that. They did it perfectly in Morrowind. :sigh:
They're strongly combat oriented classes, the support options excepted. Besides, I could always spend points in areas which I don't have enough TAGs for which make sense per character. Their SPECIAL stats would take a long time to do. Basic layout, remember, I'll do those things when I get to it. Besides, I also want to see if I can get the appearance down if nothing else. Is the Rock-It Launcher really classed as a Big Gun?
tru.dat
You just gave me the best idea, I'm gonna egg tennpenny towers. :D
I'm going to blow it up. Somehow.
I'm going to blow it up. Somehow.
Put the megaton bomb in a wheelbarrow and wheel it to the gates, ring the doorbell and run away.
You just gave me the best idea, I'm gonna egg tennpenny towers. :D
Funny story behind that idea.
Rotten kids! Stop egging my tower! *BEEP BEEP* Yes, secruity? Where were those kids from...? Uh hunh... Ok, thank you. *BEEP BEEP* Hello, Mr. Burke? I feel like seeing some fireworks later... MUAHAHAHA!!!:excited:
I happened to notice that in the super duper mart video, he punched the first raider in the chest with the power fist, and his head flew off, so it appeared to me. I came up with a funny phrase. "Rock 'em Sock 'em Raiders!" :excited:
Old news here: there won't be DRM for Fallout 3. Hines has stated that it's a very invasive and inconvenient approach, so they're using a similar system with Oblivion.

He certainly wasn't happy about people taking multi-million dollar investments like Spore (which was disappointing, but you still have to remember that a great deal of time and money was put into it, even if that doesn't reflect the end result) and 'passing them around'. There'll still be pirates this time around and if anything, DRM might have gotten a few into it, while the absence hasn't gotten them out.
I think most Russians will pirate fallout 3 since pirating in russia is legal. It is sad, that it doesn't have any kind of MP or COOP or something.

I think Bethesda have done at least one thing right with companions: you don't need to drag them around wherever you go. Considering that they have the capabilities to give you more or less command of a full squad like you could have in Fallout 2, I'm disappointed that you only get one companion. Who here's going to use Dogmeat?
Wait what, you can have a human ally to follow you around? :D
Wait what, you can have a human ally to follow you around? :D
One. Very strict conditions on who you can have at any one time as well too. Then there's Dogmeat.
I won't use that dog with a retarded name. Better be alone.
I will use the dog. I love game pets. :3:
Woo just got fallout through GoG.
I feel upset now. I can't, my paypal is locked. :(
Can't wait for this game, finally a RPG with guns. Also, you can play the original Fallout for free if you have a GameTap-account.
Unless that dog makes a reaaaaly good first impression, I'm shooting it.
Can't wait for this game, finally a RPG with guns. Also, you can play the original Fallout for free if you have a GameTap-account.
Finally? RPGs have had guns long before Fallout 3.
Unless that dog makes a reaaaaly good first impression, I'm shooting it.
If it means anything, you'll be able to send it looking for supplies and with any luck, it'll tear enemies apart as well as it did in the first two Fallout games.
I shot him in the first one as well. :)
:( I found him in Fallout 2. Very good against light and unarmoured targets, but there were too many times where I had to reload because he wouldn't stay in one place / close to me if I ordered him.
I actually shot any allies who were with me after a bit :/
I actually shot any allies who were with me after a bit :/
That's probably one of the only complaints I've got about the previous game: your allies were stupid, using burst fire at exactly the wrong time. Though the fact that you have a total of one companion of your choice other than Dogmeat doesn't leave me too optimistic for improvements in that department.
any word on his health
Nothing yet, but as we know so far, he can die, either at your hands or anyone else's.

On the other side no russians give a flying fuck about such small issues :keke:
