Oh and for the lady killer perk you also have unique dialoge options when speaking with women
It's built on the same modified engine, so I'd think so.
Thanks, Just wondering since I have Oblivion on 360 and I was thinking about buying it for PC, but I might buy this instead. However I was never able to get into Fallout 2 and I'm hoping the modding community will take this up and make some great mods like they did for the Elder Scrolls series.
Awesome, I'll be getting that lunchbox.
Then get some Nuka-Cola caps and blow someone up Edit:
Oh and for the lady killer perk you also have unique dialoge options when speaking with women
Something like: "I'll kill you"?
What's DMB? I may have made one, I just can't remember what DMB is :( Edit: I did make one to Half-Life 2 though.
Dave Matthews Band.
"I'll kill you"?
"With my penis"
"With my penis"
+1 Agree. Edit:
Dave Matthews Band.
Huh. Can you spot out the reference for me?
Huh. Can you spot out the reference for me?
When you said "...don't drink the water. They put something in it." That's almost a direct line from one of his more popular songs.
I think he might of been referring to the bit in half life two you know in the train station ?
I think it looks way too static and the characters have no depth much like in Oblivion. Sure, voice acting everything is more "next gen", but what was wrong with text? And I don't know what perks did he take, but it seems that every shot he takes in that aiming mode thingy hits, no matter how small the target.
Add subtitles if you want text. He hacked the game to hit every time, because dying or playing like crap wouldn't make it as good a demonstration.

No he is presenting his opinion which i kind of agree with. But yeah it seems even just s hot with a pistol in VATS is a one hit kill. while when not using it you need a good 3-4 shots.
It almost seems like you're trolling.
Jesus christ, everybody uses the word troll nowadays like stupid fucks. How the hell does he seem like a troll? Do you know the definition of a troll? No, you do not. So do not call people that.
VATS and grenade looks awesome.
I found two things on the PIP-BOY 3000. It can be used as a light source in dark rooms and also has a feature called over bright, in which it illuminates your area with a greenish glow. Also the general color of the display can be changed for different colors. EDIT: (off topic) On the Bethesda blog site they gave reference to Alton Brown! :4chan:
Jesus christ, everybody uses the word troll nowadays like stupid fucks. How the hell does he seem like a troll? Do you know the definition of a troll? No, you do not. So do not call people that.
It seems like he acts stupid. "Why does his character hit every time on a presentation?" It's kinda obvious that it's hacked. HE EVEN SAYS IT IN ONE OF THE OLDER VIDEOS.
No he is presenting his opinion which i kind of agree with. But yeah it seems even just s hot with a pistol in VATS is a one hit kill. while when not using it you need a good 3-4 shots.
He took out the mudcrab mutant with 1 shot with VATS and without VATS. Bethesda isn't as stupid as a brick. They know better than unbalance the game like that.
Something like: "I'll kill you"?
The perk opens up options which allow you to seduce male or female characters into giving you more. It probably makes them like you more in bartering as well. Edit:
It almost seems like you're trolling.
'Almost trolling' means having a different opinion and voicing it for reasons other than stirring up shit. If he had just said that this game looks like shit and gave no other reason, then that word is justified. I think that the AI in towns is going to be the same as usual, just with a few more animations and random walking around. EDIT:
Bethesda isn't as stupid as a brick. They know better than unbalance the game like that.
Again, Oblivion hasn't left me so sure. They made it far too easy in that, even with levelled enemies.

If you wish to stay a bit more "virgin" for the game, I advise you not to read them. Gonna add to the OP.

I've followed it for a good 2 years and when I saw they dumbed down combat with the auto lock system, that was a major turn off. It's like they're trying to cater to a more simple minded demographic by making it stupidly easy to kill enemies. And I agree with the static-ness. I'm sort of dissapointed by the lack of emotion of immersion well after the release of Oblivion more than 2 years ago. You'd think they would have improved to some degree in that space of time. I've got the worst feeling it will not have the level of immersion or intrigue that Oblivion did gameplay wise though. But there are some pretty "oh shit" moments which could make it all worth while, or become monotonous. I will admit putting a live grenade in someone's pocket is hilarious. I'm just incredibly iffy about this game, as inviting as it looks. Oblivion consumed my life when it was new, I hope this game is as engaging
Again, Oblivion hasn't left me so sure. They made it far too easy in that, even with levelled enemies.
Raise the difficulty slider.
I've got the worst feeling it will not have the level of immersion or intrigue that Oblivion did gameplay wise though.
Wait, what? Oblivion was neither of those things. The sole intrigue lay in a few of the quests (especially the ones which required you to some actual work finding clues and the truth) which were inside the cities because on the whole, the landscape around them offered very little. I couldn't be arsed to fully explore Cyrodiil, because guess what? I had everything I needed handed to me from the very start: adequate equipment and the knowledge of every city. The only reason I ever had to go out was either because of a quest dungeon (which are usually very close to the city where you received the quest or at least near another city) or to grind, grind and grind some more. I've tried using mods which switch off fast travel and remove all the city markers from your map, but I quickly got sick of them because I got sick of the dull, uninspired landscape and its content. If anything, Fallout 3 looks like it's going to be much more immersive and intriguing, because you'll have to walk around in order to go where you need to go and along the way, you're likely to find some interesting stuff. Edit:
I think VATS is there just to placate the Fallout Purists.
Yeah, I can tell you've gauged the purists' reaction very well. It's there so that anyone with analogue sticks will stand half a chance in a fight without wasting their bullets.
Raise the difficulty slider.
There is a difference between 'challenging' and 'frustrating' which I don't think you understand can't be determined by a difficulty slider. Besides, I've tried it at all difficulties. There's so much equipment and cannon fodder around that in my last vanilla save before switching to mods, my character is both amazingly wealthy and powerful for all the gold and 'rare' (or at least, I think it was intended to be rare) stuff he's fumbled across.

Edit: Even though I enjoyed Oblivion. It had creative quests & lots of other stuff. It wasn't the best RPG, but good anyways. Edit: But I agree 100 % on the landscape.
But still, I loved Shivering Isles for being insane, fresh and best of all, having a very pretty world which I wanted to explore. Passing between Mania and Dementia and watching the sun pass the Joker's Spine mountains is breathtaking and I spent many ingame days checking dungeons and camps for clues which might bring some light on why the end of the mountain range curves like it's half of the rim of a crater. Hopefully, Bethesda will have learned from the mistakes of Cyrodiil and the wonderful design of the Shivering Isles.
I think that judging the game at this point, while possible, isn't a very wise choice. Even though most of the game logistics have been revealed, the most important part hasn't... and that would be the actual ability to pick up the game and play it. Perhaps when all the demonstration hacks have been turned off, and the games setting are placed on Normal, or High, we will see a much more challenging face of the game we can't see now. In the same light, I cannot wait to play. The VATS system is different from anything I've ever seen in a game. For once it will not just boil down to spraying your bullets rapidly in every direction, hoping to get a hit. The system slows down the gameplay and allows more strategic thought to be made, an aspect I feel many other games are missing.
After watching more videos the game looks more promising than I had anticipated.
For Anyone That Cares: The Gameplay videos are also on Xbox Live. Personally, I can't wait to try this game. Now, to train my stomach so It's just like TF2. :(
After watching more videos the game looks more promising than I had anticipated.
The game is great, I played it at PAX and it is definitely worth it if you like action, story and humor, and also a shit-ton of blood.
I'm getting this game as soon as it gets released!!!
How the fuck does that guy that wants you to blow up megaton offer you the quest right away ? why doesn't he just hold up a sign that says " I need someone to blow up the nuke in this city, any volunteers ? " I just think that's abit unrealistic.
Coop?
