Yeah, you don't follow a developer or fellow player's idea of what the game should be subconsciously. I know I did with some games because I knew too much about it. Not knowing anything about fallout 3 apart from a few basic locations and ability choices, makes me think about what to do. It lets me choose myself, totally myself, what to do with my character, what to shape him into.

That is quite a study you have there. I conclude on the basis that the less you know, the more of a surprise it will be and surprises in video games are good

The more you know, the less likely you are to construct what you don't through hypothesis. Also, Bethesda have irony all wrong. Ironic isn't the old-time bully asking you for help, it's the Overseer's daughter crying that you "didn't have to kill him" when she knows full well that he came at you with a baton.

I'm really hoping that's the case, but therein lies the problem with a free-roam game mixed with a narrative which leads to this kind of conclusion: you're likely to stumble upon the truth if you scratch barely beneath the surface.

Now i am 100% sure, i searched all You Tube and Justin.Tv, they are hunting Fallout 3 and Saints Row 2 leaks.

Why watch the thing when you can just wait for the actual game to come out and not spoil any surprises. :v:

People said that the game was worse than oblivion. Gentelmen, draw your own, conclusions.

It's player preference. Do like you like fantasy or reality? I find Fallout 3 to be alot more technical than Oblivion. I do love the weapon combat. It's fun shooting peoples legs off. Great game. I'm not too far in it tho so it's only getting better.

Wow, we got rickrolled. And the mod is banning people for talking about fallout 3..

Anyone else a lot of games seem to be leaked so close to the release date? Sometimes i wonder if it's some kinda promo stunt, since live streams stay up for like 4 hours then are shutdown.

I saw some video on Youtube and here's what I thought: The intro was good. The baby part was funny and a clever way to set up your character. By the time someone said "happy birthday" for the hundredth time though, I was sick of that part of the game. Then it felt like Doom 3: Fallout until he got outside. Except the gun he was shooting sounded really weak. And everything looked exactly like Oblivion, with less foliage and more debris of course. Meh

I don't know how this bugger does it, but he always gets game footage weeks before the official release date. He's either in high places or is Jesus in disguise. For every game I wanted to see, he always has some clips hanging around before the release date. Then when it comes out, he'll record himself playing through the whole game. I mean what the fuck, who is this guy man? Anyone else want to take a guess?

I really hope they release the game earlier... It's clear that it's already done, what are they waiting for?

I wonder if enemies' weapons can jam as well. It looked like at the end of that video from TyndelM that at the end, Simms's and the player's assault rifles both jammed.

can you disarm enemies by shooting their weapon arm/gun? i've not watched much of the streams apart from the intro and some megaton.
