What the hell are you talking about.
You get a pistol right out of the vault, and ammo is cheap.
Yeah, guns were fucking everywhere. Out of a group of ten enemies, there were at least four of five with a pistol, some with shotguns, each with plenty of collective ammo.
Fuck, if you weren't a charismatic character in Fallout 2, you'd at very least end up with a gun after you killed the two dudes holding that teenage girl hostage at Vault 15.
The only problem was that the super-guns, like automatic shotguns, were so powerful and ate up so much ammo that they were impractical. It was all about planning and conservation.
Fucking Super Mutants had laser gatling guns.
After the military base I had pretty much infinite ammo for it.

You get free power armor in Fallout 2 simply by making it passed an old guy in a robe.
It really wasn't a particularly difficult game. I think the ten years since it was release has diluted how everyone sees it these days.
I'm having a hard time getting ammo.
I'm having a hard time getting ammo.
Good
WTF how do you people own this game lol.
You guys and your crazy computer torrents and weird shit man that shit is crazy. I'm just gonna play some Saints Row 2 for the next two weeks and then buy it legally when it comes out.

Funny thing is, so am I. After the Super Duper Mart and out in the Wastes, the ammo is starting to run dry. Guess Bethesda aren't as indulgent as I thought.
Good thing I'm mostly fighting mutants, because it means I can actually put my melee weapons to good use.
I assume no PC torrent?

ARGH JESUS FUCK-
Is along the lines of what happened when four Miremurks came out of a pool of water I was trying to get a drink from.

:argh: Argh, stop talking about what you guys are doing, it gets harder to wait with you people playing early and posting stories and info.
Drink from toilets, it's safer :v:
Oh god I just burst into laughter
imagine this as a conversation between two residents of a city in FO3
"So I drank from a toilet the other day, nasty taste, but I hear their water is quite radiation free."

I'm saying it is too easy to get a gun.
Any idea how long Fallout 3 is?
Any idea how long Fallout 3 is?
It took one of Bethesda's staff just under 80 minutes to do a speed run. Longer than previous games, but I wouldn't be surprised if they purposefully took it slow to imply that you won't be able to get times like 7 or 10 minutes in a speed run like in Fallout 1 and 2.

That might just mean its alot more linear in terms of main quests, like comparing Oblivion to Morrowind.
What the fuck, how did you get Fallout 3? Do you have to have a tricked out 360?
I feel bad for Bethesda, I can understand pirating games like Spore or Clear sky. Those games were shitty and not worth the money. But pirating a fallout game?! Fallout has always been quality so rest assured it was gonna be good.
Clear Sky wasn't shitty. :c
Clear Sky wasn't shitty. :c
More to the point, it's difficult to claim anything about continuing quality when you have a whole new set of developers taking the series in a radically different direction.
Pirates!!
This game deserves to be bought.
Don't get so self-righteous. Because of the number of people leeching off of torrents, it's much more likely that people are getting them through connections to game stores and anywhere which has the game in stock.
Rest assured, I'll buy the PC version when it comes out.
Bethesda all are full of fury and think it may have been an internal leak.

Good. Nothing slaps me on the knee like watching developers rage or get all defensive (e.g. the art direction style for Diablo II being vehemently defended by the lead designer, blood and violence being defended in Hell's Highway from invisible criticism).

Well, I can safely say that they aren't raging.

Orgasmic.
Edit:
The Brotherhood of Steel dudes in the heavy army remind me of Stormtroopers.
:D
Didn't they promise battles between NPC's only? I love them.
