You can get the sniper very early in the game. I got one from a quest in Megaton which was pretty hard with the gear setup I had at the time. Unfourtanetly it only came with about 20 shots. I only use it for really hard to kill guys right now. Oh and heres the annoying part. It's in pretty bad condition and in order to repair guns you have to have a duplicate of that gun.
Heh, and that creates the "I might need it later"-syndrome. Edit: He'd get banned, so no, I don't think so.
It would be cool if you could find some Daedric armor as an easter egg. :v:
How's this strategy, could it work? 1. Sneak up on a super mutant 2. Shoot him in the gun with VATS or manual 3. Pick up the highly powered weapon 4. Run away like a little girl
Super Mutants guns aren't that great. They mostly carry simple assault rifles and hunting rifles. And the occasional minigun that weighs like 20lbs so you become encumbered when picking it up.
SomeGuest, are you going to stream again?
I got banned from justin.tv and ustream. I'm done streaming until it's officially released. I'll probably just host some clips on photobucket. Edit:
I don't even want to think how that would go down against a super mutant. Can you sneak like in oblivion?
Can you sneak like in oblivion?
Yes..
I don't quite know what you mean...
Can you sneak like in oblivion?
Nearly exactly the same way. I'm still not liking the lack of a sound indicator as well, most of the time, running or wearing armour when sneaking in Oblivion was a matter of trial and error.
This thread is going faaaast
This thread is going faaaast
It's picking up, we're past the one month mark and some of us already have the game.
Nearly exactly the same way. I'm still not liking the lack of a sound indicator as well, most of the time, running or wearing armour when sneaking in Oblivion was a matter of trial and error.
i found that you usually made more noise wearing heavier armour.
I got banned from justin.tv and ustream. I'm done streaming until it's officially released. I'll probably just host some clips on photobucket.
Ouch, well if you stream again tell me because I won't be getting the game for a few months after Launch.
I wanna see how fast this thread will go when the game is like a day before release...
I got banned from justin.tv and ustream. I'm done streaming until it's officially released. I'll probably just host some clips on photobucket.
Can we get a video of dogmeat? :3:
Nearly exactly the same way. I don't remember having a problem with the sound in Oblivion, probably because I had the assassin armour. I like to sneak around and kill people silently (which is difficult in oblivion especilly when you stab them in the head and they live)
I wanna see how fast this thread will go when the game is like a day before release...
WARP SPEED really though, knowing facepunch, people will be counting the seconds and posting about it. that coupled with people going "OMG IT'S NEARLY HERE" will make for a very fast going thread. it happens with every game, almost.
I still remember Mercenaries 2... It wasn't even hyped nor getting good reviews, but still it was getting posts every 2 seconds...

[HIDDEN] for not seen [CAUTION] for the obvious [DANGER] for spotted
Is there a big selection of clothes?
Is there a big selection of clothes?
You can wear whatever you find. Right now, I'm torn over whether I should murder a Scavenger for his gear.
I still remember Mercenaries 2... It wasn't even hyped nor getting good reviews, but still it was getting posts every 2 seconds...
no matter how bad the game, people would do the same even if it was big rigs 2
You can wear whatever you find. Right now, I'm torn over whether I should murder a Scavenger for his gear.
He's a scavenger, no-one will miss him. He's alone. He scavenges to get by. Do some scavenging of your own and resort to a fight over resources, namely his gear.
You can wear whatever you find. Right now, I'm torn over whether I should murder a Scavenger for his gear.
can you get cool shades for your chill pimpin' wasteland's wanderer?
He's a scavenger, no-one will miss him. He's alone. He scavenges to get by. Do some scavenging of your own and resort to a fight over resources, namely his gear.
Karma. Bizarre as it sounds, I'm trying to stick to rules I've established for my character. Edit:
can you get cool shades for your chill pimpin' wasteland's wanderer?
Haven't found any yet, but I suppose they'd probably give you a bonus to Speech.
Can males wear dresses? :3
Can males wear dresses? :3
Oh, and that reminds me, if you kill a women wearing a skirt/dress, and you open up the inventory for her, will the skirt/dress magically turn into a pair of pants (if you're a male) like it did in Oblivion?
I should be a chick and completely whore myself out.
Oh, and that reminds me, if you kill a women wearing a skirt/dress, and you open up the inventory for her, will the skirt/dress magically turn into a pair of pants (if you're a male) like it did in Oblivion?
Yes, it's weird sometimes because there's Raiders that wear metal bra's but when you steal their armor it turns into a tshirt.
