Still streaming now! AMAZING
Is that a ghoul following him?
Yes it is. And he seems to be an asshole.
Sonar stun gun?
Are they ghoulss like in oblivion where you need to use magic to defeat them? :( (so basically you can't)

The ghouls are like zombies.
Do you think it's a good idea to tag all the weapon skills? I was going to make a weapon expert, I don't wanna get that "Aww, I can't use this gun :(" feeling.
It's certainly not a good way to take your character. You're going to find the other, non-combat skills more useful in the long run. Besides, there's nothing really stopping you from putting points into non-tagged skills later on.
Small Guns is all round the best combat skill to take. It covers a wide variety of weapons for long range and as a stronger substitute for melee weapons.
Yeah, I was thinking of taking Small guns, repair and maybe melee weapons to conserve ammo. Don't know about sneak, I found that bit hard in Oblivion, not enough room to sneak around.
Sneak with Small Guns seems like a bad idea from what I've found. The Silenced 10mm Pistol isn't that good, even with a guaranteed critical hit.
Oblivion had plenty of room to sneak so long as you didn't use a torch and that's usually the case in Fallout 3. The Super Duper Mart is poorly lit and more or less a two-tier maze due to the aisles. Outside of those though, there aren't many opportunities for stealth.
It does of course give you an edge with your melee weapons if you get close enough, not to mention the ability to plant explosives on enemies. Frag grenades have a very short fuse to take into consideration though and once it goes off, you'll probably alert everyone else.
I actually hate character creation. I hate that you have to choose like the most important things in the game without any knowledge what they're good for and so on.
Character development is a whole another story.
Also, this game runs at a stable 15 fps with no drops. There's a secret ending if you don't drink the water in the beginning, in the train station.

I only dislike active character creation. It means that unless I save right before leaving the Vault, I have to endure another half hour of decision making. Besides, I'd prefer the old Fallout 1 / 2 style, where you pick everything at once, then get sent out into the world with a couple of story points.
Yeh, it was annoying when I replayed Oblivion and I had to do the damn prison and sewer bit all over again..

Are we talking about the same game, or is this true? It seems more in the gameplay videos and in the stream.
This may be a stupid question but there is only one Super Duper Mart?
I never was intressted in this game until now I saw gameplay with the escape of the vault and the town. THIS LOOK FUCKING AMAZING
An the cool shooting mode holy mouly awesome :excited:

That's the magic of editing.

I hardly think that SomeGuest edited his live stream when he was broadcasting...
There is no "Oblivion series". Oblivion was the 4th game in The Elder Scrolls series.
:science:
You know what i meant :)
Why does Fallout have this 60s feeling? Isin't it the future.
Why does Fallout have this 60s feeling? Isin't it the future.
They were nuked. Years and years past, as time stood still. No advances in technology etc.
Yes, but it's in an alternative reality. In this reality, things are around the same as they thought future would be in the 50's.
Edit:
Beaten :(
Exactly. It's that cheery Tomorrow World vision from the 50s come true, the twist being that it resulted in a nuclear war.

Also, did CHina also become post-Apocalyptic?
Also, did CHina also become post-Apocalyptic?
Take a wild guess.
A nuclear war happened. :downs:
