Yes. 'Hot' isn't how I'd describe most of the women I've run into.
He said that he was going to "create", not meet. I'm pretty fucking sure that it's possible to create these so called "hot" persons. Oh, and by the way, in a world after a huge nuclear war, I'm pretty sure that hot chicks don't come around so often anymore.
That's why i'm gonna make one. :D
Oh yeh, how lucky you feeling eh punk!
making a character capable of winning awards isn't that much of an option.
NPC quality is usually a strong indication of what you the player can make. It's been that way since Morrowind and Oblivion. Nothing has changed and there's definitely no significant difference in appearance between any of the Vault dwellers and anyone on the outside apart from clothing.

Who cares. This is all i see: "I want to make a hot chick" "Good lucky, they're all ugly" "That post was stupid" "o.MG" "argue argue"
Who cares. This is all i see: "I want to make a hot chick" "Good lucky, they're all ugly" "That post was stupid" "o.MG" "argue argue"
Yes, Fadeaway and me never seem to agree with anything. I think the it's Fadeaway's fault.
Yes, Fadeaway and me never seem to agree with anything. I think the it's Fadeaway's fault.
Oh I don't think I can take all the credit for this great big house on fire. After all, I'm not the one with one of Bethesda's new knights for his avatar, declaring that Fallout 3 is all but perfect despite so much saying otherwise. All I'll agree on is that as an RPG, it's OK. Otherwise, it's the Frankenstein bastard child of Bethesda's own pet franchise, with various limbs and vital organs 'donated' from the Fallout lore. Fallout 3 it ain't, Oblivion 2 w/ guns it most certainly is.
I'm gonna make a hot female . :q:
Add me on steam, we should try work together and make the perfect one :)
http://www.mogulus.com/gyoruspy Live stream, still up. the chat is all fucked up.
If that just now was Bethesda's definition of 'difficult' in terms of finding bobble-heads, what the hell is easy supposed to be? :geno:
I didn't know Bethesda HQ was in DC
I didn't know Bethesda HQ was in DC
It certainly makes level design a lot easier than most other games.
Oh I don't think I can take all the credit for this great big house on fire.
First of all, I was joking with the last sentence.
After all, I'm not the one with one of Bethesda's new knights for his avatar
Well, I made the thread, I and at the time I had no idea what to put as my avatar, so I chose this one. Sorry.
declaring that Fallout 3 is all but perfect despite so much saying otherwise.
Nope, Fallout 3 isn't perfect. These are the following things that annoy me:
Oblivion engine is a bit crap
The weapon animatons look too clunky
You don't spend enough time in the vault
Not enough voice actors
Not possible to talk your way through raider attacks, although Todd
said that it's possible, so I'm not quite sure about this one
Enemies don't surrender
Game seems too easy, you can kick raiders' arses to the moon and back
right from the start

All I'll agree on is that as an RPG, it's OK. Otherwise, it's the Frankenstein bastard child of Bethesda's own pet franchise, with various limbs and vital organs 'donated' from the Fallout lore. Fallout 3 it ain't, Oblivion 2 w/ guns it most certainly is.
I'd rather call it "simplified". Seems nicer.
Well thank you for clearing that up. I've got more than enough ideas for remedying those problems, unfortunately they require mod tools which probably don't exist yet and probably won't for some time.
Still not enough voice actors?!
Still not enough voice actors?!
Well, I'm making this research from the gameplay videos. So I'm not quite sure about that either.
"The fuck you lookin at?" New favorite quote from F3.
Well, I'm making this research from the gameplay videos. So I'm not quite sure about that either.
Nameless guards and settlers seem to all share voices per settlement, but otherwise, the variety isn't as bad as Oblivion's lack thereof. The dialogue is still cheesy and melodramatic in some places though. Amata whining at me was unbearable, not because of feeling, but because the words sounded so trite. Edit: Basically, characters who are supposed to sound dramatic and charismatic (Dad as performed by Liam Neeson aside) never pull it off. EDIT: By the way, epic combination: Scavenger's helmet and Lucas Simms's duster with a revolver, Chinese pistol and sawed off shotgun for weapons of choice.
from what i've seen (the vault), Dad is voiced very well.
Can you be dressed as mad max?
I'm glad there's a variety of beards. Oblivion just irritated me that the facial hair you could get was a fucking blue stain.
Can you be dressed as mad max?
Yep, pretty much. Just waste off Butch as you leave the vault, he's wearing one. Edit: A leather jacket, that is.
I'm glad there's a variety of beards. Oblivion just irritated me that the facial hair you could get was a fucking blue stain.
Yeah, and now every head will look a bit different instead of facial features.
Yeah, and now every head will look a bit different instead of facial features.
Yes. I could have sworn that I've seen the same imperial guard face several times.
Are there any running live streams of this game right now?
So, how specific is customizing your character's face? Do you choose from some preset faces or is it like Oblivion and Mass Effect where you can work every single possible detail?
So, how specific is customizing your character's face? Do you choose from some preset faces or is it like Oblivion and Mass Effect where you can work every single possible detail?
There are presets, but you can take those and customise them. Thankfully, there aren't any more cases of beards being a case of burned skin.
Are they ghoulss like in oblivion where you need to use magic to defeat them? :( (so basically you can't)
The ghouls are mutated people. There is no magic. The only way too kill them is too shoot them, or cut them, or beat them to death, or explode them.
Satire, my friend. I actually remember when Bethesda were seriously suggesting that the Glowing Ones ought to be able to shoot radiation from their hands and heal ghouls with it.
