My Dad hates video games. :smith:
My dad played through half life and enjoys the cod series, he also plays oblivion. He then gave me his steam account which I use today.
All my dad plays is BC2 :v:
The funny thing is I'm not joking. On the night Portal 2 comes out, she's going to sit outside GameStop until they open the next morning. (and I'm going with her)
You're lucky. You have a co-op buddy. :smithicide: [editline]4th November 2010[/editline] My dad's old NES is collecting dust in a drawer, along with Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt, Commando, two controllers, and a Zapper. He got me into gaming with Super Mario Bros even though he hasn't played games himself since the NES.
My dad was a gamer till the day he died. He had just bought Doom (the original) Windows 95 a week before he passed. If he could rise from the grave and play games like at the end of Shaun Of The Dead, shit would be awesome.
I predict our generation will be full of gamer dads. If we get to mate, that's it
I predict our generation will be full of gamer dads. If we get to mate, that's it
What makes you th- Oh I see what you did. Clever.
I wish my dad could. He keeps saying that games are stupid and have nothing social. what. My mom did play Myst before, but that's all she did.
Gone are they days me and my father would play Madden... and thank god for that. On a rare occasion when he would score, I'd be reminded of it for the whole week.
Other than Mario Kart, my parents haven't played many games at all. My Mum played Alice when it came out, but thats it really.
Oh, and, he would really freak me out when Call of Duty 4 came out. Since he had no clue how to even push forward on the analog, every day it would be "Hey, want to play some Call of Duty?" And he would just watch and watch and watch and watch all day while I played. What a father, I'd say. [editline]5th November 2010[/editline] "Play some Search and Destroy"... would you believe it? My father actually knew what SnD was.
My dad Likes WoW and LOVES Halflife. Im The Same.
My dad used to play video games. I remember when he played the Max Payne games  now he plays some casual stuff
I started crying while reading first page :frown: I wish I had a loving dad
"Dad, wanna go play baseball in the backyard?" "No, I'm playing tf2, gtfo nueb"
Roughly half of Facepunch, should they breed.
Did you show him the part where the community gets in distress when they suspect an update including more hats is, but doesn't come? And scream in agony when optional microtransactions are implemented into the game?
you have a big daddy!!!!!:)
I play a lot of Worms woth my dad. He called in ill the day Worms Reloaded came and told me not to go to school so we could play instead. I love my dad.
My father and mother are totally against me playing games. Damn, where are those days when I played games with my father? :sigh:
Me and my Dad used to play Halo CE and Halo 2 together.
Roughly half of Facepunch, should they breed.
why exactly?
"Dad, wanna go play baseball in the backyard?" "No, I'm playing tf2, gtfo nueb"
Lol, actually It`s my brother who likes that sort of stuff. Usually they play sprts-related games like Madden on my Bros Xbox 360.
My dad plays Mafia Wars. :(
My dad played a lot of Zork as a teenager, connecting to a college network through Arpanet in the mid to late 70s. He also developed a few games for the Apple II around the same age. Nowadays the only game I've seen him play is Plants vs Zombies.
My dad plays pin-the-dog-on-the-floor But he does play TF2 with me sometimes. Mostly as engineer. Usually, he 's a sentry, I blow it up and cap twice before he manages to get another one working. Then he owns me.
I love these Family gamer topics. :D Dad introduced me to proper gaming really, I used to watch him play Half Life 1. Then when Half Life 2 came out, I watched him play it aswell. He let me play it when he was done, saw how much I enjoyed it and gave me the steam account. :) Still using it today. Shame he doesn't play much anymore, but when he does its always single player games; Crysis, STALKER, Farcry etc.
My dad played with me Burnout 2 once... Too bad he doesn't want to now... :sigh: He beated me
I wish I knew my Dad.
I once played a game with my dad... that was 9 years ago :smith:
