My dad got me into PC games. Started off playing games on the first Playstation.
My dad taught me fatalities in Mortal Kombat II when I was around 7. He taught me how to beat Gradius III on the SNES. Then he beat all the scary parts on Doom 64 for me.
My dad loves playing console games. He's already gone through Splinter Cell: Conviction, Uncharted 2, Call Of Duty: World At War and Modern Warfare 2! As soon as he finishes a game, he asks "Got any more good games?". He's not the best, but it's fun to play Nazi zombies with him and stuff :buddy:
I used to play Battlezone I & II with my dad before he died.. he loved those games... as do I pretty damned good games, some of the modding was impressive too... but the community for it has pretty much died :(
I miss both my dad, and the battlezone community...
My Dad keeps asking me when I'm going to "grow out of these childish games." While I was playing Nightmare House 2. While there was blood dripping down from the ceiling.
I think the only thing my dad likes is fucking Galaga. He even hopes to buy one of the machines one day.
My little brother likes to watch me play though, he's five as of October. My older brother plays stuff too.
My brother's friend, I'm going to try to get him into TF2. He has a bitch of a girlfriend who makes him change his gaming ways every damn month.
She thinks WoW is for kids and that COD:MW2 was for Adults.
WoW = 30-40 year olds in a basement take up most of the players
COD:MW2 = 8-12 year olds on their mommies computer or dads console take up most of the players
:colbert:
Me and my Dad are working on a TF2 map now. He`s a submarine draftsman irl, so he`s been drawing schematics of a TF2 level, while I put it into Hammer. It`s a koth map with two oppossing bases. This is awsome. :neckbeard:
My dad used to play back in the day of the Ultimate DOOM, and Wolfenstein 3D. It's a shame he never kept up with computer games.

You and your dad won in life.
My dad tells me I'm going to be a failure when I grow up for wasting my time playing video games.

Your dad is a bastard
My dad, and I use to play a lot of the NHL/NFL games before he got into his car accident... He sorta stopped, but now recently I've caught him a few times jumping on my BC2 account, and playing. What was dumbfounding was how good he was at it.(must come with part time experience of being an Airforce Marksman)
My dad thinks I'm losing my teen years to video games. If he actually played with me, it would be so much better :frown:
My dad has been completely addicted ever since the day it was released.
He literally plays it every day and leaves his computer running all night in farm servers for his hat collection. He gives me some pretty nice hats for free, which is cool. :) We play often together when he's away from home at his work site.

Make sure to make a huge thread about it when it's done.

What else would he do?
Maybe your allowance could be paid in virtual hats..

I wish I could save up enough virtual hats to pay for my college tuition.
I wish my Dad would play video games at all. :sigh:
he'll ive even tryed to get my parents into video games, but i gave up on that after my dad said he only bought the playstation 1 for the "golf video thing."
the last thing i ever attempted was getting my mom to play the first level of little big planet.
My mum used to play mario kart back on the 64 when I was younger. My step dad now downloads the newest game each month and he's always playing them.
My dad likes to play minesweeper and pinball. And Wii sports.
my dad plays PGA Tour.
My dad hates blood in video games, and he's a doctor -.-

:irony:
My dad is 63 years old and barely knows what is a computer.
Ever since me and my brother told him he can see free pornography he's annoying us to teach him.
So far he knows how to turn it on and off :v:
i wish my dad wasnt dead. :(
My dad played through Mafia 1 a while ago along with the Half Life series except for the episodes. Me and him played through all of the new Red Alert and a bunch of the old ones. Hates mutliplayer games but enjoyed Mafia 2 and Amnesia : Dark Descent. Overall Pretty sweet.
I wish I had someone who shared my love of games. Why can't I have a family like Day9 does, hnng.
My brother is a schizoid who's in-and-out of jail, my sister is a prostitute Xanax addict, and my mother went mildly insane after my father died. My stepfather is a nice-natured person, but he thinks I'm disgusting and abnormal because I'm an introvert internet-addict.
My life is not very bro.
All my family plays is old nintendo and atari games
and hoyle board games (pc)
and solitare
my dad doesnt even know how to uses an xbox let alone play it
My mom plays bejewelled and tetirs.
I dunno what my dad plays, if anything. I don't see him much any more :(
My dad only likes WWII games, like COD 2, he plays that all the time.
My dad plays all the classics like Call of Duty, Medal of Honor and Battlefield: 1942.
My dad saw me playing Forza on 360 and asked me if he could play, so I let him and he played FreeDrive for 3 HOURS STRAIGHT IN THE SAME RUN. He got so into it, he brought up a step-stool 5 feet away from the Huge-ass TV
