Plenty of people, being psychologist working at a small middle school in my area has exposed me to children who are being heavily influenced by that which they see/play. Everyday I see children fighting, and emulating the games they play in real life. Countless times have I consulted with a child who started a fight over a game, or who just wanted to see if they could do what they did in video games. Countless times have I seen a child severely hurt just because the attacker was a damn kid who wanted to emulate a GTA game.

As I have mentioned before, to a very large degree. Younger people are more susceptible, but all ages can be desensitized by games with violence and it is not a good outcome.

[B][I][U]They are necessary[/U][/I][/B], as they are breeding a whole new generation of kids that are plagued by desensitization and stronger aggressive urges. We need to have kind human beings in our society, not ones that want to be like Niko or CJ.

[b] Depends upon their moral and mental state of health. An unstable person could probably be easily swayed by violent video games. People with a low Intelligence Quotient (IQ) can also be swayed by violent or misleading video games. This is a fact. [/b]

[b] They haven't worked in the past and they most certainly will not work now. Completely useless gesture. You can't wipe gaming away with a simple banning, it will still be alive. Just as Australia banned Left 4 Dead 2, their people still bought the game through other sources via the internet. The only full-proof way of ridding violent video games is by ridding the internet, which will never happen. Again, a useless gesture. [/b]
