Mine was a "wow i cant belive he did that" wow, but in Assassins Creed 2 when you dont kill Rodrigo Borgia.
Mass effect too
I fell "wowd"
I fell trees, but not wow
Avatar fits.
Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4, though mostly 4.
Damn bike chase big boss run :emo:
Also Just Cause 2. Those sunsets are damn beautiful
I personally like http://www.spellingbeethegame.com/
Most recently Demon's Souls. After beating the second boss, which was seemingly impossible, but it turned out to be pretty easy. Still, the most awesome feeling of accomplishment I've gotten from a game in years.

Company of Heroes, after a year of Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.
Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4, though mostly 4.
This mofo knows.
Edit: I shed a tear when Snake went on about the Feeding ramp being polished to a mirror sheen.
Just Cause 2, can't get enough of the awesomeness.
The first time I played Oblivion with maxed up gfx settings, my jaw was scraping the floor.
Mass Effect 2, it can't get more epic than that.
Heavy Rain
couldn't put it down from the moment I picked it up.
"Wow" does not sufficiently represent the intensity of the game.
But I "wow"'d over and over after completing Freelancer. That is some epic shit. Same with HL2 actually.
FEAR 1/2 had some pretty damn nice cinematic moments.
Mass Effect 2 was brilliant though.
WoW
Just cause 2.
Some parts in Bioshock 2 were unbelievably beautiful, at times I would simply stop and look around.
Portal.
Half-life 2! ESPECIALLY THE EPISODES!
Also, first time i played Oblivion, where i got out of the starter sewer, and climbed up on a mountain :D
Also, Garrys Mod 10 when i(My father) bought it for me.. I loved playing around with shit, and downloaded wiremod JUST RIGHT AFTER INSTALLING.
Resident evil 2.
For me, hands down teh best game ever made. Bits which made me say WOW:
Cut scene graphics
First entrance to the Police station
First attack by the Lickers
Hands bursting through the wall (ARGH!)
Finding out Chief Irons was working for Umbrella, and a homicidal maniac.
First shot of the magnum.
Firing the tuned shotgun into a group of zombies
The crocodile attack
The one way glass interogation room scene
First entrance to the labs
The Evolution of William Birkin.
The final boss fight
And many, many, many more bits. Iv never loved a game the way i did that one when it came out And then Resident evil 3 was a whole new hit of "WOW". It was the same story told from a different perspective... they just dont make em like that anymore.
While playing TF2 I knocked over my copy of World of Warcraft and it fell down
Metro 2033, when I arrived at Polis.
Some others but I can't remember.
Parasite eve 2.
Im not even gonna start a rant, cos i'll never stop. But this game has absolutely no downsides.
I loved every single aspect of it from the moment i started it. The only argument i would have had is that the end boss fight was extremely tough. But that just gave me a real sence of achievment when i fnished.

I may be misunderstanding something, but to me it looked like an ordinary button masher.
Blade Runner, the 1997 adventure game. It's one of the best games I've ever played and my favorite adventure game. It's a non-linear game with over 10 possible endings and some of the greatest visuals I've seen in any game, ever(it's a 1997 game and it still looks amazing), it's got an enthralling story, a great atmosphere and some pretty impressive voice acting. It's an underrated gem of 90s PC gaming and a classic example of a timeless game, which doesn't get less impressive and enjoyable as the years go by and new games come out.
Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines, my favorite RPG of all time. It ran on a half-assed version of the Source engine and was released 6 years ago, in 2004, with tons of game-breaking bugs which made it practically unplayable, with the developers releasing only one or two patches before the studio was took down. However, the community started working on unofficial fan-made patches which are still being made(current version is 6.8 if I'm not mistaken, where the last official patch was v1.2), which tells a lot about the quality of the game itself(people wouldn't bother with making unofficial patches if a game is bad, would they?). Great story on which you have a direct impact on with your actions, tons of quests(side-quests are even better than the main ones in this game), amazing voice-acting and a different but great leveling system make this game one of the best I've ever played, and I haven't played a role-playing game that impressed me so much since. Another severely underrated game.
BioShock, well, everybody has played BioShock I guess, no need for explaining there.
I fell when i saw WoW too.
What do you mean Button Masher Genkaz ? As in Beat em up ?
No, Parasite Eve 2 was a survival horror style 3rd person shooter. It was very similair to resident evil in many ways with a mixture of shooting, exploring and puzzle solving from a fixed camera. It was pretty much the opposite of a Button Basher.
It also had a very deep, complex story and masses of weapons and abilities. It almost crossed over into Survival Horror RPG.
It was strange, it hit the PS1 with no advertising or prior hype. I stumbled across it by shere luck and it was one of the most astonishing games of the PS1 console era.
