Well, its like anything as it ages Genkaz, its pretty dated now.
If your expecting next gen graphics and such then no, i'd leave it alone. However if you genuinly liked the original resident evil series, or silent hill games it may well be worth a look. It was well ahead of its time. But that time was 1999.
If i were you i'd try and find some gameplay footage, or better yet a video review on Youtube or a decent gaming site. Then you can properly judge what it plays like.
Personally i loved it dearly, but i cant speak for others.
Project Reality. Surprising that it can happen in a multiplayer-only game but the epicness of what happens sometimes is awesome.

BF:BC2. There's no feeling like when your radio says,"THIS F***ING PLACE IS COMING DOWN!!!" and then you "fell" out of the building. Then you turn around and say, "[b]Wow[/b] how did I survive that."
Homeworld, all you really need to do is look at the game in general.
Also Shadow of the Colossus. I don't need to list a reason since you just need to look up the game to find out why.
