Would you recommend attempting it?
Well, its like anything as it ages Genkaz, its pretty dated now. If your expecting next gen graphics and such then no, i'd leave it alone. However if you genuinly liked the original resident evil series, or silent hill games it may well be worth a look. It was well ahead of its time. But that time was 1999. If i were you i'd try and find some gameplay footage, or better yet a video review on Youtube or a decent gaming site. Then you can properly judge what it plays like. Personally i loved it dearly, but i cant speak for others.
Project Reality. Surprising that it can happen in a multiplayer-only game but the epicness of what happens sometimes is awesome.
playing Elona. 5 minutes after starting my first game, I was prompted to choose a pet, and there was "A Little Girl" as an option. Obviously you know you found the best game ever when you can have a little gurl as a pet. :D
HL2 + episodes. Last level of COD: waw.

Baldur's Gate. because i genuinely can't believe that this game has yet to be surpassed in my book. FO3 still WOWs me with new stuff all the time. Just cause 2 makes me drop my jaw at times. And God of War 3 has me dragging my jaw behind me like a drooling retard.
Half-Life 2 Trackmania Nations / Forever Crysis Just Cause 2 GTA IV Metro 2033
GTAIV wowed me when I first saw it in action. Even though this game didn't come out, Mafia II wowed me enough to the point of talking about it nonstop.
World of Warcraft the first time I saw Stormwind.

Fable The Lost Chapters gave me this "wow"-feeling!
Mass Effect 2 and Just Cause 2. They are both so epic.
Half life 2+ episodes Mass Effect (2)
Just Cause 2, at the end of the demo, when it zoomed out and showed the size of the map.
Oh wow... Garry's Mod, Fallout 3 (my favorite RPG ever!). And MW2 graphics. The first time I seen them I let out a big WOW!
Technically you could say doom 3, as at times I shit my self, and fall (fell) off my chair, and think wow. But other than that, please work on spelling on thread titles.
BF:BC2. There's no feeling like when your radio says,"THIS F***ING PLACE IS COMING DOWN!!!" and then you "fell" out of the building. Then you turn around and say, "Wow how did I survive that."
Homeworld, all you really need to do is look at the game in general. Also Shadow of the Colossus. I don't need to list a reason since you just need to look up the game to find out why.
Fable The Lost Chapters gave me this "wow"-feeling!
yeah, that game was a masterpiece if you hadn't jumped the hypewagon. unigue and exciting game.
yeah, that game was a masterpiece if you hadn't jumped the hypewagon. unigue and exciting game.
I can go as far as saying it's one of the best games I've ever played! The story, the dialouges, Albion itself.
I can go as far as saying it's one of the best games I've ever played! The story, the dialouges, Albion itself.
That game made me order Fable 2 GOTY edition yesterday.
The nuke in F.E.A.R. 2, holy shit.
The nuke in F.E.A.R. 2, holy shit.
yep its fuckin weird
Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. When i was about 20 hours in and had barely discovered a 1/4 of the map. That game is overwhelming. But brilliant. Very addictive,
Cortex Command and Just Cause 2, HOLY SHIT AWESOME
yep its fuckin weird
It is not a nuke, it is the origin facility blowin´ up.
I said wow when playing Metro 2033.
I fell wow when I first played MGS 1. Strangely, none of my friends got to the first collossus. I fell wow about that too.
