I've never heard ANYONE talk about any of the STALKERS in real life unless it was me telling them about it, so I'll just leave that there. [editline]16th November 2010[/editline] And this: [img_thumb]http://noctalis.com/shop/soldout/g_dragon_age_origins_a_s.jpg[/img_thumb]
Dude, Dragon Age? Underrated? You've got to be joking me. It was pretty much overall received as the next coming of god. If anything I personally feel it is overrated
Oh hey don't mind me, I'm just a criminally underrated game that was released way before my time. Also my sequel sucks balls.
Kigndom Under Fire serie. Its gameplay is unique, its music awesome, its story cool... Yet its not popular :(
GeneRally [img_thumb]http://fessicsfavorites.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/generally_01.png[/img_thumb] Best top-down racing game ever, and it's free. It's almost completely moddable and it even comes with a very easy-to-use track editor. Shame the developement of this game has ceased, and the last known release of this game was version 1.05, released in 2003.
NO. FUCKING. WAY. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY YEARS I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS GODDAMN GAME?! Holy shit dude. You are my hero. YEARS, man, YEARS. Thank you. This is like an early Christmas!!
Global Operations: I loved this game when it first came out, the multiplayer was amazing and was amazed at how you could shoot through certain walls and doors.

Seriously, it was awesome.
Dungeon Siege II and MDK 2.
hilarious I hate MGS, but I'm still in shock at how bad your post was.
No, MGS is way underrated. Just look at all those GOTY awards, they are way too less.
Most people that play Day of Defeat anymore are hardcore fans, and it never really had too giant of a fanbase. It's a solid game though.
I consider myself a casual DoD:S player, however it's pretty tough with all the try-hards. Still a very fun game, I love the tactical and strategic portion of teamwork playing it. EDIT: On topic, Incredible Crisis for the PS1. Great game.
Mirror's edge.
Crash Bandicoot: Time Warp
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. And don't you dare to say otherwise. Actually that isn't funny.
8 pages in, so someone's probably said it, but I'll say it again; Alpha Protocol. Incredibly good game that, sadly, lets the bugs get in the way of storytelling. Needs a huge fan-patch ASAP.

The only terrible part was the endgame which is pretty much generic boss fight after generic boss fight.
Alone in the Dark 2 & 3 (the original trilogy, 1992 - 1995)
Talking of Obsidian games: The first one is better, no doubt, but if they hadn't cut a vast amount of content then this would be a classic. As it stands though it's still damn good, the morality's a lot more grey, the locations feel more hostile and aliem, there's a definite element of intrigue to the plot with regards to finding out what the fuck happened, and they managed to make a game which uses many of thsame assets, the same GUI, same home base, and eve some of the same Party members feel new and interesting. If only they could have finished it. Also, Darth Nihlus ius the most badass motherfucker in the history of Star Wars, every time someone talks about him it's with a mixture of fear and awe and, well, just look at him: Shame his boss fight was a little underhwlming, but oh well. Not to mention Darth Sion, who just exudes pain and menace:
I really liked it, and it honestly doesn't deserve the bad press it gets. The only terrible part was the endgame which is pretty much generic boss fight after generic boss fight.
My issue with the ending was that nothing really tied together; you either got the Halbech ending, the Mia ending, or the Scarlet ending. That was it. Kind of a let down.
Boom Bots was a very fun fighting game, not to mention the story and claymation cinematics were fucking hilarious. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath Call of Duty 2: Big Red One Destroy All Humans! Spiderman 2 Uhh thats all I got.
[img_thumb]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_LKemyFfCkvI/TDJz5TNSlrI/AAAAAAAADqk/F8vq7LJf1Wo/s1600/915368_front.jpg[/img_thumb]
Oh god i loved that game so fucking much.
There arent many games where you can race trains. This deserved so much more than just being in bargain bins at game shops.
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Lost Planet 1 & 2, God Hand, Kane & Lynch, The Saboteur, Mercenaries 2, Alpha Protocol, Mirror's Edge, Scarface, Red Faction Guerrilla and other stuff I probably forgot
Alpha Protocol is terrible.
