Barely anyone knows about them, but in my eyes it's the best RTS games ever, the first one follows the movies the second one and the expansion follows the LOTR universe more.

I'm not sure if anyone will know what I'm talking about, but when I was young, I had this kind of Gothic Donald Duck shooting game, and dear lord it was amazing. When I showed other people it they thought it was shit.

Best top-down racing game ever, and it's free. It's almost completely moddable and it even comes with a very easy-to-use track editor.
Shame the developement of this game has ceased, and the last known release of this game was version 1.05, released in 2003.

For all the people that say they can't run it, you don't have play it on all high. I actually enjoyed it on medium settings when it just came out.
The aliens that came in later on in the game were okay (a lot of people may disagree), yes they were irritating at times but they fixed that in Crysis Warhead.

I had the lowest settings and it was fun. But still i wasted more time messing around in the sandbox :)

Playing Deus Ex for the first time last year made me realise how much potential for semi open gameplay this missed. Could still be pretty fun as a stealth game though hated it after the aliens came though.

I would recommend this game to anyone. Gameplay-wise, both are similar, although the expansion has some new weapons. The single player on both are tough as hell to complete every objective with minimal casualties since the enemy placement is randomly generated. The online is fun as hell too, with a heavy emphasis on tactics rather than running and gunning, which you can't do anyways since your equipment is heavy. There's a greater emphasis on non-lethal takedowns with pepperspray or beanbag shotguns. Sometimes, you even have to restrain hysterical victims with pepperspray.
The online community is still strong as I know it. The last time I played was about a year ago. I reinstalled my system, and the key stopped working :gonk:. I plan on buying it from Direct2Drive. The Gold edition (The game and the expansion) is only twenty dorrah, and it's worth every penny.
