I really don't like the lack of sights, especially with the lack of a crosshair.
there are crosshairs and sights when you look at other beta gameplay footage.
Looks better than CS, but that isn't hard.
I wish the FaceAPI stuff worked with this for leaning to the sides, ironsights, etc. That would really make this fun to play.
How do you "apply"? I made an account but I see no where to apply for the beta.
This is not counter-strike 2, dont call it that.
wow that looks kick ass
This is not counter-strike 2, dont call it that.
Its a Spiritual sucessor of some sort, perhaps.
Is anyone else having a problem signing up? I put in my email address and it says it's invalid.
looks good he is obviously not a web designer
So wait, if we sign up now, will we be able to play? I ask because it's still technically May 28th where I am, and that seems to be the limit for the first playtest seems to be today. Or does just making a new account default us to the next playtest?
Don't even bother signing up
Looks really awesome. I probably won't be able to play it because of my shitty comp, but I'll still follow it.
I'm not really liking how fast paced this is looking... I was hoping for something a bit more realistic, but I'd still love to try this out.
Looks a bit too MW2-ish.
Dang, I expected actual CS2
Fuuuck... I remember the guy saying if anyone wanted to be in the beta, they would have to become a fan of their facebook page and post on the page's wall. But I guess he said 'fuck that' and decided to use some other registering system that I wasn't aware of. Looks like I missed a beta chance. :(
Looks looks more like what would be a free mod like Resistance and Liberation then a full game, even for a beta.
Well it definitely has the visual appeal that CS lacks (well, more than CS had, at least.) But I can see why people wouldn't think of this as CS2. It doesn't look nearly as "basic" as CS did.

Has potential, I hope it improves from the beta. The whole aiming-over-cover-with-one-hand thing seems a bit odd.
this shouldn't be called counter-strike 2, i thought it was gonna be shit. but it looks cool.
I think it looks pretty damn fun, if they smooth stuff out a bit.
I hope that they keep the amount of bullets that you need to kill someone roughly the same at it was. Wouldn't be counter strike if they turned it into MW2.
Looks way better than CS
The animations need work. That is my only complaint from the gameplay video.
Looks pretty fun. [editline]09:23AM[/editline]
The animations need work. That is my only complaint from the gameplay video.
It's still in beta :|
Looks prietty good. Too bad all my gaming is on consoles now adays :(
I can't believe the shells still eject to the left on most of those guns though god damn
It's like that in Counter Strike Source too.. it's kind of stupid. But the game does look pretty good if you ask me. Shame they made it into one of those dumb free to play games with pay for extra stuff.
Looks pretty confusing. What's with the L4D-glow around stuff?
