what grabbing hostages is extremely helpful. Sounds like your using an AR or sniper, any of the SMGs are wield-able with hostages. I like this game, it seems kinda like a throwback to all the over-the-top arcade games.

Randomly crashes on menu, crashes when loading map. I really hope they can fix that one. The game does have a bit of potential if they can polish it up, but it's a long road ahead.
Wish everyone would stop slamming the game based on about 40 seconds of gameplay.
It looks bloody good in terms of gameplay at the moment, and a lot more dynamic than CSS.

I got a beta account from a friend and played it a bit yesterday and this game is fucking awesome. Yeah, it had bugs and yeah, the item/weapon purchasing system is bullshit, but other than that, the game is just awesome. It's like CS mixed with CoD, mixed with a really basic cover system and mixed with GTA if you're on the highway map. And it takes all the good stuff out of those.
And the highway map is on a whole new level of awesome.

Whenever I hear counter strike 2 I think of that video with the tactical air strike grenade.

Basically, there's a VIP car, that has some important looking dude with a huge briefcase, one player drives it, another player sits in the passenger seat and can lean out the car and shoot. The CT's can also get another extra car that also has to defend the VIP car. The T's also get a few cars and they have to chase the VIP car and try to blow it up or kill the VIP. And everyone in all of this is a player - the drivers, the passengers and they can all shoot out the car. There are also plenty of civilian vehicles, driven by NPC's, that any can take and drive. It gets really intense when there's 2 cars chasing 2 other cars and there's guys with guns leaning out the cars, all shooting at each other.
imo this looks horrible, even for a beta.

Also, you can see your whole body when you look down in this.
And players limp if they're badly damaged. And you can heal teammates.
And if you get knocked down by a car, or an explosion or whatever, you actually fall down on the ground and you can see your body while you're getting up.

Just looking at the cv-47 makes me wish...
Fix the clipping, make it look better (graphically), add more guns, remove the shell ejection, it looks like the shells are coming out of the Skorpion's barrel, and make it to where you when you pick up an object, it shows you holding it, and in Hammer you get to choose what it looks like when picking up the object (to allow more objects to be put in.)
This game is awesome and deserves more recognition. Those of you in the beta, check out you have an update :3

So I signed up and I used my email to activate my account and it still won't activate.
Beta is incredibly small atm, but Minh Lee played with some of us yesterday.
It was awesome.

It's not free to play, and will probably be on Steam when it comes out.

I didn't get one either but I saw a post on their facebook page that a lot of people just didn't get confirmations. I was one of them, just try signing in on their website and see if you are able to download it.
If someone could give me a beta code it would be much appreciated.
Todays been a bad day, one example is being yelled at because I accidently overflowed our sink. It would make it alot better for me if someone could give me a beta code.
I just checked and I got one. Apparently, the website didn't recognize my account name. So I had to make another account using that GNG thing on the website. That supposedly worked because I have an account and access to the beta.
P.S. - I got my email saying I could download the beta. Doing that right now.
