What the dick! Anyone else got that problem of signing in when you start up the game? I typed in the correct information and it tells me that my username is invalid.
I only have the email. He really should specify email or username/nick name.
Bump for the hopes of people actually playing this!
Btw, double post for the greater good!
Highway is a fun map.
It looked like it took a bit too many bullets to kill people, and shells still come out of the wrong side. Otherwise, this looks fucking badass.
Its pretty fun now that I have been playing it. Dogs are amusing when they work, recoil is a tad wacky but learning to control it isn't bad, the highway map is really fun and gets super crazy. Basically, I'd get it when it comes out.
The blind fire system is something I haven't seen used and it isn't all that useful. Weapon stats between the different tiers is quite noticeable. Tier 0 versus tier 1 and 2 is pretty bad, people have to buy weapons and not use the starting ones.
The shop in-game is all credits earned in game and really isn't half bad.
Really wish they would send me a damn key.
Just found out my game entry for the Independent Games Festival that I chose not to use the Source engine for is being ripped for this. Guess Gabe Newell didn't like my response. Things like the rappeling and such. Asshooles screwed me over in Eugene Oregon when I was passing through to the company that would back it for retail. It has an engine like Factor 5's for the Star Wars Rebel Strike game. It runs on hardware like Source with features like Crytek's engine. Gabe Newell is an A$$hole.-Christopher Harmason, creator of Smoking Barrel and the design for what is apparently going to be Resident Evil 6.
All this can be verified with the IGDA: I have nothing to do with Tactical Intervention, and have to note that for legal reasons. My version is testable and has complete network code, etc. I have gotten no compensation and wrote my engine from scratch. Support independent developers don't rip them off. They'll use local cops in Eugene to screw you over for Valve. Careful...

....Right
Just got my key. This will be the second time I've beta tested this game (the first was when it was under that other company).
[editline]15th March 2012[/editline]
Jesus Christ, the beta is gonna last a lot shorter than last time.
[editline]15th March 2012[/editline]
Disappointment ensued. It still feels like a free FPS.

This game went completely off my radar, it's been in beta for what it seems for too long. The car chase maps were awesome though :V
