I think once it comes out people are going to have this expectation that is way to high. Between the hype and the overly long wait it is going to make people think it is going to be the most awesome mod on earth. HL2 is still going strong and it isn't going anywhere for a long time so I can't say source mods are dead. Sure they're coming along slowly, but how many times do we actually get quality mods? Hardly, most of them are A. In development that has a timeline-release date like EP3, B. Abandoned, C. Shit so no one plays it
