The current version of minesweeper, because there's no guns and the main character [sp]the mouse[/sp] never dies!
Correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't played the game, but what about Prince of Persia? From what I hear, you're immortal, well I guess you could get your head chopped off and die, but I haven't played the game yet.
You kill lots of things I mean seriously, you kill so many things in that. Games without death, I think OP means the "artistic fun" games.
I dunno, Hello Kitty adventure, Barbie Pony Rape, Barbie Baby rape, Oh wait, nevermind.
Try Sam and Max.
Peggle
Viva Pinata!
I thought this would be a great suggestion: The first few Splinter Cell games. I mean.. sure there are guns and death but the whole purpose of the game is to NOT use your weapons as much as possible and stick to stealth tactics and interrogation. Sure, you can die, but that just adds the challenge. :p
I think by "death as a way of moving the story along" he means if the death doesn't affect the story at all then it's fine, in which case Mario would be fine. You can probably beat that game without killing anything except Bowser. If you mean no death period then I don't know many, except for racing games and intellectual games.
Fist of the north star Musou. Everything is already dead. Personally I recommend the Phoenix Wright/Apollo/Miles Edgeworth games. Theres death, yes, but they are awesome games nonetheless.' Or maybe a fine game of chess :wotwot:
Animal Crossing. Doshin The Giant. :3:
Most racing games.
AudioSurf OpenTTD [del]Spore[/del]
Viva Piñata
Katamari Damchi!
You stuff people into a giant ball of trash and launch them into space. :colbert:
Littlebigplanet.
Braid. Technically you only temporarily kill the enemies. And Yet It Moves. Puzzle-y action game. Pokemon. They only faint, plus Pokemon is awesome. QuantZ. Another good puzzle-y game. Windowsill. Another good puzzle-y game imo. Osu!. A rhythm game, also it's free.
Littlebigplanet.
That game continually mocks me now that the PS3 went down in price.
Spyro: Year of the Dragon Gran-Turismo 3: A-Spec Fantavision Ratchet and Clank 1, 2 and 3, I guess.. Lot of violence and guns, but keep the nostalgia going.
