Beyond Good and Evil. No-one dies (I think), and there is... kind of violence, since the main character (Jade) fights with a dai-jo. But she like kicks people in the back to make their jetpack go instead of killing them, and you can't jump off anything dangerous.

The Maw is a good'n, sure you can get Maw to eat the little blobs and blow fire, but it's not focussed around killing really. It's on Steam and XBLA.

Monkey Island games

It has a "goomba stomp" mechanic, but you are eventually shown that it's just an annoyance for the enemies. The only in-game characters are those enemies and you, so "death" can only happen if you cock up a jump or something.
Race Driver: GRID is insanely good, but it's a racing game.
