the 10k giveout, well so far the one withe the earliest date is me on the 2nd of august, the open beta starts on the 20th i think

Uhm. No. You can ONLY be a hero. You can, however, design your nemesis (villain). However this nemesis is completely AI controlled.

like it's previous game, City of Heroes started first before City of Villians, then it's new expansion, Going Rogue soon.

I've had mine for a day now.
They had to split it up, if you got an email saying you were getting a key, then you are getting one on the date that was listed in the email. They sent some out early because Cryptic only does betas on Friday and Wednesday, so they let some people try it early.
If you dont get a key and you DID get the email saying you were going to get one, I suggest emailing GamerZine and/or Cryptic.
I haven't got my key yet but I'll give it another day or so because the email stated 3rd of August.

You'll get it most likely in two or three days, as the beta opening times are only (commonly) on friday and wednesday, so they're just trying to spread it out so some people arent in a situation where they have their key but can't connect to the server the day they get it. Basically what Raidyr said.

No, you'll most likely get it on either tuesday or wednesday. It'll at least give you time to patch up and play the beta on the same day.
