only idiots take games seriously games are supposed to be entertainment
Wait what. Why wouldn't someone who devotes their life to chess have fun doing it? Chess isn't a job required to maintain an infastructure, it's a HOBBY. Sport is recreational. Sports are games. Games are fun.
I don't play chess myself but I know several chess players that play in tournaments and such. Obviously they all like their hobby and they have fun playing out normally but when they play at tournaments, it's not for fun. It requires serious concentration to beat a player of the same level as you.
You just said it a couple of posts back: You haven't given a single proper argument so far while I gave you plenty. If you ask me, you're the one who look desperate.
But how you correct my posts in that anally retentive way... It's just kinda weird... Like you're trying so hard to insult me personally rather than arguing.
only idiots take game seriously games are supposed to be entertainment
Only idiots and children deal in absolutes.
weird weird weird weird pick a different word please
But how you correct my posts in that anally retentive way... It's just kinda weird... Like you're trying so hard to insult me personally rather than arguing.
It seems like you're not trying to argue at all since I've yet to see any actual arguments from you.
weird weird weird weird pick a different word please
Strange, rare, unusual, etc.
when i getting raged (by anything basic), i drive people over with me car... :)
When getting raged by actual traffic I go home and drive over people in games.
Whenever I start to get pissed off at a videogame, I just start playing music I really like to calm me down.

Play some league of legends, it will calm you down.
Play some league of legends, it will calm you down.
Been there, it's the game that makes me rage sometimes... People who keep rubbing shit in your face... Every time there is somebody on their team that sucks ass, gets fed because of worse noobs on my team, and then proceeds to talk shit about how pro he is and how we are all "nb" or "noob", or any offensive slang.
By playing dark souls for a while you'll find yourself completely immune to videogame-rage. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline] I call it rage therapy
I just go lift some weights, or run for an hour. So for me, Videogames are kinda healthy for my body.
Play 'I wanna be the guy' Its really relaxing in stressful times.
Hook up a car battery battery to your nutsack and leave one wire that should connect to the battery unconnected; brush the unconnected terminal with the loose wire every time you find yourself raging over games. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline] A more reliable method would be to have someone else do it for you
do maths when you're raging OP, even basic maths like 2+5 i find calms me down.

At my very worst I'll let out an almost silent "Shit" or "Fuck" out when I mess up, not even through the mic. It's just a force of habit at this point, I don't even have to be angry at the time for it to slip out. :v:
Listen to your fav songs. Me? I listen to my fav songs while browsing the internet/ FP when i get mad at games.
He can also try the Ninja Gaiden games.
Pff, those are so easy he could almost fall asleep while playing them, the music is awesome though.
Listen to loud dubsteps with shitloads of bass drops when your gaming It helps as it helps you own
He can also try the Ninja Gaiden games.
The Impossible Game is also a good one, I heard its very zen like. The ironic title gets you laughing from the start, have a good time OP.
Play a game that's extremley casual or one that you've already beat and you know you can dominate. Also I find that multiplayer games are the worst way to calm down.
decrease having the mentality of a child.
Visit your closest animal shelter and take away some puppies or kittens depending on your preference and proceed to murder them violently with a rusty rake.
Hey everyone, I've been noticing I get really pissed off when I play video games. If our team loses in tf2 I go batshit insane. Infact, a couple months ago, I was playing darkrp and someone stole my money printers, which led to me throwing my headphones at my monitor and cracking it. Any suggestions on how to chill the fuck out when playing games?
Advance past puberty.

[editline]22nd March 2012[/editline] I call it rage therapy
To be honest, this actually works pretty well. In a game like Dark Souls, you know when you die that it was your fault, and you can use your failure to learn how to get better. If you want to stop raging so much, stop playing multiplayer games.
I still flip my shit when those cougars in Red Dead Redemption sneak up on me. My controller flies across my room like a frisbee.
