No he shouldn't have because that isn't the direction he's going in. Notch has said many times that he's not going to go that far in depth with it, and that the crafting system will stay the same (with more to make), and even then it's not a fantasy RPG because there will be no stats, no levels, nothing of that nature.

First time i connected to YumYum's, my first multiworld server, i caught on to how to move around and play it in general in about 40 seconds. It isn't hard if you have half a brain. /help, /cmdlist, etc., or ask an admin.
YumYum's auctly trys to be easy to navigate.
Others just dump you in a level and no way to go to the default world.
Mine has one world and you'll love it like your sister.

The first level you join is always the default world :downs:
A few servers, like mine or dysgalt's, have portal worlds.

also, the ruins are interesting, I remember when they were first put up. I think they're waaaay too packed together, could use some actual streets in between the broken down 'buildings'... I feel like I'm cramped into an endless beehive of empty boxes when I fall down one of the holes :/

That would be a neat idea indeed, though the map might need to be reset to just the ruins to try that because there is stuff built into the ruins already.
