I have no intentions of giving it to anyone else, I just want to run my own server and make it more interesting. Plus I'd like my Admins/OP's to have better abilities.
I asked Notch if we could still have limited maps, and here's what he said.

the multiworld software is user made and you can get it from Andrews site (he seems to have removed the file from his site though) and the normal server software(single world) you can get from the [url="http://minecraft.net/minecraft-server.zip"]minecraft website[/url]
the port you need to forward can be configured in the servers config file, so basically just choose a port

I was not aware that was the case.
I didn't even know there was an inFdev until yesterday. Oh well.
Level generator is quite impressive. I found a cave type thing in the middle of no where. Built a house there, just to see how long I could hold the fort.
Then realized there are no creeps yet.
